@dr4g0n121 - yes, but you would need to use regular machine head tuning keys... and depending on the number of strings and the strength of the wood, installing a truss rod in the neck as well may be a thing to look into... working on one that uses all of this mentioned stuff these days in making ready to relaunch the blog...

I am making a guitar outa my old bed once I get new one 100% wood ^_^ and I can get proper strings for about 3.99 - 4.99 (4 for the beaffy)

@Dudeman647 - I bought them like that... but you can make them like that too - when I relaunch the site soon, I'll be showing how to make them from those flat, black bungee bands.

I'm planning on making a bass and would like to know how you put the strings on.

@TheHalo3creed - there are holes in the end of the body near the edge - I knotted the strings and threaded them through the holes from the back, then brought the un-knotted ends up over the body and neck, and threaded them through the holes in the tuning keys

@Icosahedronite - Thanx! Remember though, ya might fond one at Radio Shack for anywhere's from 2-7 bucks, depending on the size, but I mention in the vid' (part one) where to get 'em for generally the same amount of change, but for TEN of them hehe

So yeah, like... when ya build sumthin', lemme know! I wanna see it! XD
