We had a cover band that played the Fugs in 1967, in Bakersfield of all places. We had a pump organ, a kazoo, and lots of love for songs like this. We didn't know a thing of course cuz we were seniors in high school. Rest in peace, Tuli.

1. I was around in the 60's and was listening to "Slum Goddess" 18 years before you were even thought of.
2. Nobody "grew up" in the 60's, everyone stayed young.
