I have yet to here A good argument for government health care and I have heard many good reasons against it. I do not believe the politicians are stupid just corrupted by money and power. Somthing else is going on. You will be forced to pay for health care or go to jail does that sound right to you?

People that go without health insurance cost the government alot of money. You are paying for these people through your taxes. The idea is to get them to pay for their own costs, doesnt that sound right to you?

I have no problem with the government paying for healthcare but I dont want them running it. They are not health experts. Look at what the government did to the home morage market. when they got involved it caused this economic crash we are in.

Oh really lol. Of course it was not Bush. Congress during the Clinton administration told fannie and freddie to relax their lending requirements. That is how they ended up with all the junk loans. Congress are not bankers either.

There is absolutely no clause in the Constituion that allows the federal government to mandate that you pay for health insurance.

@mark1m There doesn't need to be a clause for that. The federal government has rights granted to it by the Constitution.  Mandating health care is not one of them. The only purpose for anthrax is to kill other people and the government has the right to protect citizens with laws. An insurance mandate is not protecting other citizens from me.

it's a pain in the butt for the doctor to deal with insurance paperwork too, it's an additional cost to him so he charges more for those who pay through insurance

im uninsured i'll you why. cause i can go to the doctor for 60 bucks when i need to because i tell them "i dont have insurance, how much will you charge me" and i dont go to the dr for stupid things like colds, flu. its cheaper for me in the long run.... and thats how i choose to do things..........

You should look to get a catostrophic policy though which would cover most of your expenses in the rare instance you get hospitalizied or need a surgery done. Congrats though on making the doctors still conform to a free market system.
