First of all these cars aren't made for going in a straight line. Second of all these cars don't have a hundred thousand dollars in them, usually a lot of the parts are free, if you are a good driver and get sponsors. Third of all I totally agree with JT18260, you can build a Toyota Corolla even with a 2JZ-GTE swap for about thirteen thousand fully built and be running faster than that Chevelle. Fourth of all why did you watch this video and bash on the cars?

There is rarely 100K or more n these cars and How shitty of a chevelle would that be? A 572 crate engine isn't cheap, 15 grand then you still need to buy water pump, carburetor, intake manifold, distributer and spark wires. Then you still need a tranny, and you gotta put all that together, you can run into alot of problems when you get to dealing with installing big blocks. You would need new motor mounts and aother shit as well and with that said and done you only have straight line performance
