  • is it just me or is your hat a bit too low on your head

  • the relatively low rate of fire is like the real one

  • so....you can replace parts like the dust cover receiver with the REAL AK74 PARTS????

  • ski jumpin hop setting on low? use heavier BB.

  • This is an Awesome replica of the Ak 74, but being a GBB rifle is it skirmishable or practical in an airsoft game?

  • I wanna no because of were i live its illegal to import weapons but i can do it legally (its complicated) but the gun will cot me 500 euro ($550-$600) is it worth it?

  • haha, the barrel wobbles, just like a real AK74

  • @joyousplatapus ?? You must've had a surplus weapon... My AK family of weapons are pretty solid. Despite wear, tear, abuse and thousands of rounds shot through them, ive never had any problems with them.

  • Does this gun have a locking bolt?

Sorry (If you've told this in the video) but I coudn't watch the video (I'm in a bit of a hurry and my internet is sooo slow 0.o)

  • @YaYCreeC No it dos not have a locking bolt...=[ so u can just dry fire wen the mag is empty =]

  • Which one is better, the WE Scar or this GHK AK74?

and which one has a more realistic recoil?

  • @YaYCreeC Id say the ghk ak is better the scar breaks easily due to a HUGE design flaw and the ak has more recoil i would say cause of the big bolt

  • GBMairsoft,

should I get this one or a WE GBBR?

  • you paid 400? i paid 300 with shipping for mine

  • should i get this or the WE hk416?

  • hi,

do you know that ghk has taken this off the market? not sure why but there apparently working on a new model. you heard anything?

  • i say look at it this way, 600-700 is around the real steels ROF so its a plus i say.

  • The gun sounds so cool on fully automatic.

  • Thanks! and one other thing. i was wondering what you thought as far as the CO2 mags. i live in michigan so during much of the airsoft season the temperatures are less than ideal for green gas. i was thinking of investing in a few CO2 mags to counter this during colder seasons however i wasnt sure how efficient they were. thanks again

  • GBMairsoft, would you recommend this specific rifle or the Western Arms M4. Which gun is superior in terms of performance and accuracy. Thanks, and please respond.

    ~Anthony

  • Just one question. and i apologize if its already been asked is how is the mag cool down? ive heard stories that the rate of fire greatly decreases after a short while but i have also heard that due to the mags large size, it is less susceptible to this. Thanks and again great job!

  • The gun cools down like any GBB. Although the magazines are well built, they cool down just as fast as any other rifle GBB magazine.

  • bahahah " its a fuckin ak" i love it! great review man. very helpful information and all around in depth. sir consider yourself subscribed!

  • Ski jump effect? What weight bbs are you using? I'd use .25s at the lightest. Probably .3s.

  • Lol dropped the Fbomb there in the end hahaha. That was funny. Good info. Where can I get spare mags both Co2 and Green?

  • What is the fps with green gas and the range of it?

  • assuming you bought this from over seas, how was you're experience getting this through customs? i was considering buying one of these but i was afraid customs would seize it because it resembles a real AK in almost externally and internally

    thanks

  • I will be making a video on the subject/.

  • A few US websites have the gun. Try buying it from Airsoft Extreme.

  • what about propain?

  • if the GHK is so similar to the real one, can you put in the extra pieces to make the real one shoot fully auto?

    :)

  • If such conversion is possible you need to know the following:

**It is illegal, as in same level as illegal purchase of autos

**GHK is from Taiwan and the Taiwanese media would be all over this as an airsoft conversion to centerfire issue

  • dang lol

  • I love your video, couple of thing I think you might forgot to menton are:

*The Mag catch could press against the gas release valve if you load it slowly.

*The Gas efficiency is extrmely poor, notable on CO2 w/ 12g only last ~60 rounds, then makes dying hiss sound

*The ROF for AK74MN is 650rpm which is within range with GHK AK 600-700

  • *The mag catch does press against the gas release, you are correct.

*I found the magazines efficient with Top gas, but not with CO2. In fact I do not recommend CO2 for this gun.

*True it was stated but still it is a slow rate of fire when compared to a GBB M4 or real steal.

Thank You for letting me address things I missed.

  • That's a shame really. I have a WA M4 & i love the fact that the gun 'tells you' when it's out of ammo. Hate guns that don't have some kind of 'lockback mech'. I'm not saying the bolt should lock back, but it's a little annoying it still keeps firing. Lovely gun otherwise.

Love your videos by the way!

    Snake

  • hey, I've got the same hop-up problem with mine, and the same problem on my STAR M4, Hopefully I just need to put in a new rubber.

  • As well, RA-Tech sells parts for the GHK AK series. i.e., metal bolt, steel hammer, adjustable fps bolt, etc. As well, I advocate checking out gasguns(dot)info. They have a forum all about gas powered guns.

  • I forgot to ask, but where did you get your AK, Redwolf? And is it CO2 capable out of the box?

  • Does the bolt lock back though after the last round has been fired, or does it just keep cycling?

    Snake

  • if its a true 74 then no. Most AKs don't have a locking bolt.

  • No it is true to the real Ak which does not have a bolt lock. It will just continue to cycle.
