you got that backwards, im pretty sure fifa isnt the game that has a horrible server for online play, the players run like robots, and the keepers are utterly retared(they used to be megastupid in fifa 08). However, PES conatins all three of the above. PES 09 is CLEARLY MILES BELOW fifa 09..hardcore PES fans will even admit it..

FIFA 09 has slow reaction for the controller. i have both, i play FIFA on the internet connection only. I play PES when my friends are comming over my house. =)

sorry to say this, even though i'm a hardcore pes player(i simply love the gameplay) i have to admit fifa is more realistic and detailed. But i still miss the dives you can do in pes that if are timed correctly with an opposing player's tackle can give u a free penalty and a card. so i'd say put your money on fifa if u have to choose but if u can buy them both please do because they are like ying&yang.
