ok i need help, i changed the pitch of a song in audacity but when i try to export it to mp3 it just says "could not open MP3 encoding library!" i don't understand what to do? :/ and i can't import it to LAME either :(

@aznb0y00 Once you have installed LAME as i showed you in the video, just go to file and export SONG as mp3 and tell it where you want to save it to. Thats it!

i did exactly that and it worked for the first time but after that it wouldn't work again...

i can play it on my window player but youtube wont late me upload it

Is this a song you made yourself or a song by another artist? Also it has to be a video file to upload it to Youtube. If the song is by a artist then Youtube might not let you upload it because of copyright laws. Let me know if you have a video or if it is just a mp3 you are trying to upload?

It has to be a movie file, you can not upload plain mp3s to youtube.

If you are running windows you can create a movie file in there by just adding your music and a picture if you want and just hit publish to computer.

i have a vista which causes almost all the problems :(

it should be no problem go to your windows movie maker in your start menu and import the song and a picture or two if you want and drag them to the time line at the bottom and then publish it to your computer, after that, that video file will be able to be uploaded to youtube, i run vista as well, dont worry even us vista users can do this!!

so sorry to bother again but

i cannot import my mp3 file from audacity to the window media player...

i tried to import a downloaded file of a song else where and that worked... :'(

is there something wrong with my audacity?

im having a few problems :S whenever i play the song when i just open it, no matter the song it just comes out as a big bang of fuzz for less than a second D:... anyway i ignored that and then tried to save the file and it just 'not responding' :S

@ASecondBetrayal Audacity cannot import or export files in WMA, AAC, RealAudio, Shorten (SHN), or most other proprietary formats, or any kind of Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected file, including many purchased online such as on iTunes or Napster. If you are not using one of these file formats the song might be corrupt. This can also whappen when you are using files riped from CD's. Try using mp3's, WAV's, or Ogg files to prevent this from happening.

Try uninstalling the LAME plug in and then reinstalling
