The closest phonetic to Lucas in japanese is Ryuka, they dont really have an "L" sound

Since they didn't make Lucas' name up from scratch, it's not really correct to tranlate it by simply transliterating the characters. if you INSIST on transliterating the japanese characters instead of actually TRANSLATING them, Lyuka would at least be closer to correct.
