In fact, that scene was probably the only scene that made this film... somehow... popular, which btw just displays humanities' sick view of "art"..."taste".... whatever u wanna call it. Honestly - i see where he was going with it but it should have been advertised as a psychological drama not a horror/thriller. There's more thrill walking through a parking lot at 1am. It was more irritating than a conflict or internal struggle. watching a couple bicker for most of the film just didn't cut it. Try renting it first. or (taboo) watching it online

this is no pointless movie. it's just a complecated movie. in the movie a man said: if you die a "bad death" your soul becomes confused and you become a vinyan -- an angry ghost of sorts. so Joshua died in the tsunami. but his father let him go. he didn't try to save him. that's why joshua's soul is angry. all the kids in the movie, who are throwing the stones, actually are death. they are confused, they all died, and joshua is one of them. but in another body. i think.

Honestly - i see where he was going with it but it should have been advertised as a psychological drama not a horror/thriller. There's more thrill walking through a parking lot at 1am. The best "thrill" scenes are in the trailer - sorry the ONLY Thrill scenes are in the trailer. The rest is her descent into madness. Good Movie - false advertising resulted in bad reviews.

Me too which is why i think this disappointed so bad. It's not that they didnt' go through her descent into madness, they didn't do it well at all. It was more irritating than a conflict or internal struggle. watching a couple bicker for most of the film just didn't cut it. Try renting it first. or (taboo) watching it online

I recorded this film last week on flm4, and I watched it today, and it is so not worth watching. The story line is so shit, and the ending is ridiculous. This was ment to be a horror movie, but doesn't show any "disturbing" scenes or violence. Only shitty sex scenes and strong language was used. Film rating - 3/10

fantastic movie. although slow paced and requiring patience definitely worth watching if you want a more challenging film to watch. if you are a common horror fan looking for cheap thrills and shocks around every corner then this is definitely not the film for you. which probably explains the negative comments. but i feel this film is a work of art and reaches a horrific climax of hopelessness and desolation in the last 20-25 minutes. Symbolic.
