I'll give you three gtx 580 lightening editions if you can put your finger through these 2200rpm fans at full speed :D. Dude seriously though HOLY SHIT.
These days CPU power is cheap and plentiful enough that you don't need such obscene fans for overclocking to wring every last megahertz out of your CPU. A decade ago I got an "AMD Duron" (yes I know it sounds like a brand of condom) cos it was cheap and not far off the performance of an Athlon/P3. The revolutionary "Thermoengine V60-4210" heatsink had just been released so I got one and purchased a 60mm Delta "SHE" fan for it - I got 400Mhz extra but it sounded like a freaking vacuum cleaner!!!
can u get those fans as led, i have 6 fans im my comp just that 1 delta fan could probly cool my hole pc its that much more powerfull lol, what rpm do delta fans run at? and what do the normal fans run at.
@sylar1989 This fan seems to be a PFC1212DE which runs around 5,500 rpm, most 120 mm run around 1,200 to 1,900 although this fan draws around 5 amps vs the normal .4 amps. these move around 252 CFM vs the normal 63 CFM. these cost around 36-50 $ and can be found on ebay. ^_^
I don't understand how this is "hilarious". I have the 190cfm model, the reason why Deltas are so great is they're a lot more efficient than traditional consumer fans. So if you use a fan controller, they produce great cfm at lower voltage at lower dba than most fans you can buy. And if you ever find your case overheating, you can crank it up for few seconds to cool it down. Its nice to have Deltas in your arsenal. I'd like to have 4 to 6 of them on my side panel when I eventually mod it.
hahahaha i was thinking about getting a couple of these... i herd they were loud and i dont really mind loud at all. BUT THIS FAN!!! if i put even one in my case there is no way anyone in my house would sleep..
I am buying two Delta fans for my Gamer Rig. My AMD 955 OC to 3.9Ghz can get hot sometimes even with liquid cooling. These should get that heat away from the radiator and allow my computer to fly at the same time. Go 240+ CFMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hah yup i exchanged by buddies xbox fans out with two tiny delta LR2's and his box has yet to burn out (i still maintain that it will, it's his 3rd xbox since they came out)
Should really check out 120V AC powered Fans. Most are Steel or Aluminum and push in excess of 130-140Cfm.
Wickedly dank wind speeds, and they still function when you turn your case off (ghetto rigged me a 120v fan controller w/ a dimming knob, relay and rocker switch)
So they'll cool your components off after its off.
True, but it was only a molex connector, its only really an issue if your connecting SATA, IDE, or PCI etc etc when its on, when I was little (not really little, but younger) I pulled out a PCI card while my pc was on and it shut down lol.

oh if its a delta fan im sure it'll be crazy,
His box sounds like a Blender.
Oh hey beware of the amperage draw, I ended up having to use a external 12v 2.0A adapter on his Xbox,
It would turn off after an hour or so with them super delta fans plugged in.
No red screen or errors, it'd just turn off and stay off for awhile, figure pulling to many amps through the fan circut when it felt some heat.

You should NEVER plug anything into your mobo while your pc is switched on. You could do some serious damage.
gaz52 3 years ago
I didn't.
I plugged it into a molex on the PSU.
Deltas like that shouldn't be run from the mobo at all. :P
