  • Everybody the LG Viewty needs BRIGHT NATURAL LIGHT for slow motion, not artificial, try go outside sometimes ok ?

  • yeah me2 someone please answer

  • I have the same problem as other peope , the quality turns very bad when I record in 120fps . What is the solution ? I have read all the comments but I can't fiure a solution .

  • When I use my Viewty's slow motion capturing, the quality gets very bad no matter how light a room I'm in. How do you get that kind of great quality?

  • LOL you so sad people ..its was gereat to have a posibility to do a digital vga picture 10 years ago.... now u got 120 fps in smothh qualitu 320x240 in a touchpad phone wich i buy for 50 pounds wich have also 640x380 wide 30fps!!!! and its great cos i know the real value of that posibility ..FUC|K u all wasters of hardware beqose u are so sad and without any idea how to use that nice posibileties! lol

  • For experiments ... I have to say ...no , it has just 120fps that's nothing comparing to a real high speed camera with 1000fps , I tried to film a flying bug , but the result was indeed very dissapointing . Like I sayd before , it's just for a little fun , the low quality and lack of sound speak's for itself

  • Actually the phone films in .avi format (640x480) with great quality , but in 120 fps mode...it films in 3gp format at very low resolution . still is kinda fun to film things at 120 fps . The photo camera...well thats something else , 5 mp ...manual focus ...& macro (great to have on any camera)

  • does youtube allow 3gp videos? Or do you have to convert them?

  • Yes ! Youtube allowes 3gp videos and almost any other formats .

  • And is the slow motion actually good in experiments. Like is it as good as you'd have expected or were you dissapointed?

  • I think this phone is just good in slow motion shooting

  • Can you tell me at what resulotion you can record 120 fps in. 640x480??

  • Largest is: 640x480 normal and 640x384(W)

  • So the pixelsize does'nt get effected by the framerate. It makes no differens wether or not you are using the 120 frames or 30 fps?

  • Im afraid it does, if you wanna shot in 120fps the res automaticly goes down to 320x240.

  • 320x240 and with a good quality video

  • @raytracesvin U cant record 640 x 480 in 120fps.

  • is the videos 3gp?(120fps and normal)

im thinking of getting one but i cant convert 3gp into my movies so i cant edit them :(

  • If you record them in 120fps they will be in .AVI format. If you record in normal framerate they will be 3gp i think, but there is a edit program within the telephone, not as advanced like some PC programs but still..

  • Like he says, It will be recorded as AVI. When u rec at 30FPS, you can record as DivX:)

  • Very nice! My Viewty is coming in a few days. I'm getting frustrated cause I WANT IT NOW! Very cool video. With some fitting background music it would've been an artistic masterpiece!

  • Wow thanks, yeah maybe your right, might upload a new one with some fitting music/sound effects. Know something? :P Looking forward to seeing your own videos later on :)

  • hi ive bought my viewty yesterday but when i record in slow motion indoors the video become dark even if i turned on the night mode!!!!!!!! is this normal??????????

  • I get the same thing in dark rooms.

You turn on the light and it stays the same

  • thats caus eit has to take 120 PICTURES A SECOND so therefore teh exposure can't be long so there isn't alot of light , basically this i s a compromise

  • Yeah, as Kamek said the exposure and aperature has to be lowered to allow for the fast frame rate.

  • yeh i does that on mine, i think its because its such bad quality hi-speed
