Even if it's playback, they're still great performers! I noticed that a lot of the time when they have to do performances for events like this, they do playback.

I'm not a huge fan of Bill's makeup here though. =/

It's unfortunate that they do do playback, but that's cus the show doesnt offer them enough time for soundcheck to play. Soundchecking is expensive for the event or show. At German galas when they do playback all of the other artists do playback as well. :)

thre are reasons for them doing playback. they are forced to by the even they are at. Many big gigs are playback, not only for tokio hotel, because the event demands it. Also, sometimes its cheaper for the show to have it ploayback, cus then they dont need ppl to set up the instruments and soundcheck and all that, thats why. and the reason they did playback in their younger days was because bills voice was changing.
