Great project . IMHO extend the stern aft further with a canoe shape water release .This will add buoyancy in the stern on the main hull.
The stern will not squat at rest or when powered up.
Earthrace's whole hull cut through the water. Also the hull at the transom had only a minor cut off like a traditional power boat would have. The deck at the stern while it was square, underneath the hull was still oval with alot of reserve buoyancy.
