The reason he is standing, is because he's not trying to flip the back end up, because i've seen many riders flip off the back on the starting gate.

same wif wot gear to start in, some ppl like to start in 1st and some ppl like to start in 2nd its just rider preference

yz's and rm's are buiklt exactly the same, but the cr's and yz's dont have power valves which means the power band kicks in alot harder, i have a yz and it hauls.. but if your a begginer get an rm, kx, or ktm

Actually, if you want to get serious about it,(I'm not burning Kawasaki because I love my KX250F) a bike fits you personally...one might half bottom end but less top end or skinnier opposed to the one that is wider . A bike fits you and your riding style not that one type is better than another.
