The protagonist is calling for "All angels" because he feels that our world is in such dire straights that only one of them may have the answer. "I won't give up!" (I won't stop searching for the answers). "If you don't give up" (Searching for the answers - I need more answers than you, as an angel, may have to offer) It's a statement of doubt that angels have the answers.

It's about believing in angels. "Give me a sign to let me know you're here" so to me that's a song about Angels. Some do believe, some don't. I do to some extent but believe they are amongst us and living instead of in a spiritual form.

This song is not about angels. It's a desparate cry for help. The protagonist is calling for "All angels" because he feels that our world is in such dire straights that only one of them may have the answer. "I won't give up!" (I won't stop searching for the answers). "If you don't give up" (Searching for the answers - I need more answers than you, as an angel, may have to offer) It's a statement of doubt that angels have the answers.

Im a strong believer in god but i also have a brain cell in my body knowing the bad stuff that happens around me isnt god but the devil and man trying to make me lose my faith. Have i ever questioned or been angry at god. Yes everyone has even the supposed nonbelievers if you didnt believe in god, and werent 'hating him' you wouldnt bash or hate on people who have faith. You just would let them be happy. Taking away happiness is a sign of being a ass. Dont be one. Just saying. Good song.

It's about the world going to hell because people are more concerned with who's got what-greed, power, money is all that matters to most. No one really cares as much about people and the world as a whole. And then you have the media(as he mentions TV) who likes to twist and dramatize everything so nothing is ever really clear.That is my take on it but what makes this song so special is the fact that it can be taken in different ways. So basically, whatever you get from it, that's what it means.

The song can be spun many ways. But... It's not a religious song, pretty much the world is going down the tubes... He feels society is spoiled and now everything is falling apart.
The composer of the song probably isn't spinning it this way... I wish he'd say what it was about... but then again it would take some of the special away from the song.
