Does Bush deserve that honor for the 10,000+ Americans that died on his watch, for outing an undercover CIA agent, for failing to get Osama bin Laden, for wiretapping American citizens without even an ex-post facto warrant, turning the U.S. into a country that defends the use of torture and secret prisons, doubling the National Debt after being left a Balanced Budget, or for leaving the economy in a shambles not seen since the Great Depression?
O'Neill gets fired and all of a sudden he wants to "tell the truth about the Bush White House." I don't like Bush, but this O'Neill guy is just trying to get noticed, and get back at the Bush Administration after he was fired. If it was so obvious that Bush was incompetent and doing odd things, then why didn't this guy come out earlier. Once again, I don't like Bush, but I don't like this O'Neill guy either.
So we have two differing stories on how O'Neill got out of the Bush Administration. One is from a WH Economic Advisor, and another is from O'Neill. The advisor has nothing to lose by saying O'Neill quit, while O'Neill looks incompetent if he was fired. I believe the advisor. And just because his accusation was repeated by other sources doesn't over shadow the fact that he came out with these accusations only AFTER he was fired/quit. Something tells me he isn't doing this because its right.
I couldn't agree more, Kevin. Unfortunately, it seems some of the more gullible Americans still believe the lies, and perhaps the ones who seek the truth are too afraid to be *silenced* by a "President" that seems to have little or no regard for truth, honour, or honesty.
I'm a Republican whose been saying we should remove him. Impeaching him means nothing if you can't convict. It would help if the 9/11 truthers weren't so attached to this side, as they hurt rather then help. Bush did not plan 9/11, with the proof being that it worked. He is guilty of taking the focus off of Central Asia and using the fear of another 9/11 to settle family business. This has hurt us for years to come and he should answer for his mistakes as they cost us lives and more.
Gore screwed himself and the election wasn't taken from him. Gore gave it away and should have never allowed Bush to make the comeback he was on in the final weeks. Gore didn't even win his home state or that of the incumbent President. How sad was that? The fault lays with Gorre and himd alone. You might also blame the idiot voters who couldn't read the ballots. If they felt they voted for the wrong guy, then speak up and fix it at the ballot box. I never shed a tear for them.
if bush is such a pompous bozo how come he managed to hold on to the presidency two terms in a row? were americans so desperate to justify the 9/11 that they chose a vigilante as president? did the americans forget how many innocent us soldiers died fighting a war that's not even theirs to begin with? that they died in vain? that they died for oil? not for their beloved country?withdraw the us soldiers.they deserve better
The 2000 election was decided in the courts when the Bush legal team convinced the Republican Florida Secretary of State to stop the vote recount before it revealed Gore did indeed win.
The 2004 election was stolen via vote-suppression in Ohio (Google "Rolling Stone" "Was the 2004 election stolen?")
it's not fair to judge americans for the idiocy of their president. but when americans didn't impeach this president it makes one wonder why. how come he wasn't the target of assasination like his predecessors? he is continuing his fathers legacy policing the world ( which george bush senior failed at miserably ).
Every recount by the news media showed that Bush got more votes in Florida. When Gore went to the courts to suppress the military vote he lost all credibility.
100% backwards. Every recount shows Gore won. And if "suppressing the military vote" costs you credibility, then when the Bush team sought to suppress all overseas votes... including military ballots... in 2004, what then? (the Gore team fought to disallow military ballots postmarked *after* election day as there was no way to confirm when the ballots were cast or by whom.)
Bush is the master of crap administrations! Noone will come close to being as bad as Bush at being the US President. He served 8 years....how? Who voted for him?? argh!!!
Fear is always is a good smoke screen for making people agree to barbaric acts hitler used it to make most of the country agree to and Participate in his solutions to his perceived jewish threats shame about Israel fondness for breaking international law will we ever learn ( not while you hold the gun you wont ).
Bush will go down in history as the worst president in history, and certainly the worst in modern times. Carter had his shortcomings as president but looks like a GIANT in comparison to this twit.
If Liberals had their way, the inspectors would still be in Iraq, 2,800 dead US soldiers would still be alive today, Iraq would not be a terrorist training ground, and North Korea would not be testing nuclear weapons because they fear being next on Shrubs' hit list of countries to "Democratize".
I knew this long before Bush Junior took office.
The Iraqi Wars is nothing more but a vendetta or revenge against Saddam Hussein

A couple of points:
O'Neill, was not fired, he quit (according to him, over Iraq).
His accusation has been repeated two other Bush Admin vets.
Search my videos for "warpath".

Florida Recounts Would Have Favored Bush
But Study Finds Gore Might Have Won Statewide Tally of All Uncounted Ballots
By Dan Keating and Dan Balz
Washington Post Staff Writers

the Gore team contested EVERY militay ballot

Funny, you said "every" recount favored Bush, yet by your own acknowledgment, a statewide count (the only count that matters) favored Gore.
And no, Gore did not contest EVERY military ballot. That's just stupid. What would be their defense?
