They have take out or make less storage between the driver and the motor. Sometimes you have to steer the motor more than the storage let's you reach. unless mercury incorporates a system with their power steering thing that's like minn kota's vantage. where when you turn. your actually turning the motor 4 times as much. maybe that's a bit drastic for a big outboard. but perhaps double your input feedback or at least 1.5!
