Where were these right wing protestors when Bush attached a country for no reason costing ten of thousands of lives? Where we they when the patriot act was signed taking away the very personal freedoms they claim to cherish? Where were they when Bush presided over the largest spending spree in US history? Were they protesting then? Of course not. But now Obama wants health care for everyone like every other civilized western country, and all the crazies come out. Baird's right. It's scary.
I am 65 and I paid cash for my medical services. I have just recently found an insurance company that will insure me at a more reasonable rate then most. I pay for it because I refuse to have the government involved in my life. We worked hard, planned for our future, saved, gave to charity, served in the military and did volunteer work at the VA, a rape crisis center in NO with the Katrina victims. I guess I am a brown shirt thug too. They go too far with their communist agenda.
You must know that HR3200 is wrong and can't justify passage. If you COULD defend it you might try. WE DON'T WANT ANY PART OF GOV'T HEALTH CARE. Obama has gone too far.
I heard that when a person asks a question of the Congressman on his telephone town hall, someone is there to 'disconnect' him or her if the question is not something they want to hear. This is not fair at all.
Somehow, I don't believe that the elderly man that was arrested had any intent on getting posted on youtube. The mass of constituents doubting the sincerity of the bill should tell him something. Maybe he should work for them instead brushing them off.

Democrats used brown shirt tactics against the two Bush administrations. Anytime the Bushes came to Oregon, there was violence involved.
I think it is time for Baird to go back to the day job as a doc.

So when you turn 65, I'm guessing you won't accept your Medicare benefits.
ClumsyRoot 2 years ago
Medicare is NOT optional. You have to take it. The option is Medicare Part B (your private supplemental insurance).

Interesting. I didn't know that.

THAT is the ONLY answer. Fire these assholes and put in third party people that think for themselves and actually believe in the constitution.

I'm confused by that. Give me an example of a question a congressman would like to hear and one they wouldn't like to hear?
