@joeldesmarais No. It seems like he plays it the same way most of the time. He plays the verse the same way on electric as he does acoustic, but the chorus is just power chords

@joeldesmarais Hmmm. I went by the video of him playing at Bizzare fest, and the tab book I have has it listed as open chords. Not sure. I have a difficult time getting the correct distortion for this song, it's a very light distortion.

these vids are amazing, when Weezer was still soulful and had Matt Sharpe! I love it, and gotta give props to y100 for being the most excellent radio station back in the day

@ia5662 You haven't bought their new cd's then. You can't judge a band by a song you hear on the radio. They are definitley still soulful, even for a 16 year old band. Also Sharp was a tool and was the only thing i didn't like about the band back in the day. I'm glad he's gone. Scott Shriner is the man!

@KLove3232 hey to each his own, I really don't like new Weezer at all and have pretty much all their new albums. sure I might like a song here or there, and trust me, i don't just listen to the singles, they are usually my least favorite anyways. but after a while, the new songs get annoying and worn out. i can still go back and listen to pinkerton or blue and be totally satisfied. and maybe Matt was a tool, only they would know, but he added something great to the band.
