this is a funny story.. it's my bestie's brithday and we were playing the original atmosfear game at near midnight and my bestie's mum's friend came over and was wearing a mask and had a flashlight and my other friend and i were sitting near a window, so he heard this creak and turned to see something pop out and ran out of the room and never played since!!

And the Gate Keeper always scared me when he pops out.

i dont get why this game is so scary. i played the whole thing like three times in a row when i was like 6. i wasnt scared at all. then again my dad showed us scary movies that were rated r when i was like 3 so i wasnt really scared of anything on the tv

As much as I have had fun playing the DVD version of the game, it's still not a patch on the original. The original VCR games could genuinely SCARE you, the most you get with these DVD's is insulted hehe...

When you buy this game ,can you choose the language or its just in english

usually there is just one language and you have to live with it. Some countries have dubbed this. In Europe mostly they use the English one but it's subtitled in the language of the land where you boutht it.

Have to agree here that the DVD version seems toned down when compared to the old video versions...For true horror, see the old Atmosfears 1 to 4...very scary!!

the video version of atmosfear (or nightmare in Northern US) is much better I think, the dvd just doesnt have the same old affect.
