Well all i can say is that this is wonderfull

I hate these vids that show ' G ' s with big hats and chains, an midi keyboard and bigass tv, then sample some beats and synths and act like they made an bloody hit.

hey im planning on buying a guitar and wanted to know if i could hook it straight up to my M-box and use the effects on pro tools instead of buying an amp to record with

@Sheeraz20 you can do this. But you will need an amp sim and (i would suggest) some impulse responses to simulate a guitar cab. you can find many videos on how to use these if youre unfamiliar with this stuff. I would suggest watching fearcomplexmusic's videos. There are many great free amp sims too that he demos. Hopefully that helps. \m/

This was A-1 right on at the nick of time for me. Have some engineering tracking sessions coming up. I was just going over this same set up regarding recording which instruments first. It's always good to play it feel strongly about it an move to the next instrument. I saved this as my favorite to show to someone this weekend. Show him how it should be done when tracking in the studio!
