Of course, that was 2007 but I'm still doing the display. The electric bill is actually the cheapest part of the display (as compared to buying LED lights, etc.) Since the lights are all flishy flashy instead of continuously on like in the old days (static display) my electric bill the last six years has only been about $80 more than normal. Not too bad! Thanks for asking!

Of course, that was in 2007. In 2008 and 2009 my neighbor and I went up to almost 1,000 channels. I had to move but I'm right around 500 channels in my new home. And you are very right, it takes me about 3 months to do one song! Thanks for the kind words!

It takes me a good month to set up. Of course, I program lights with the software during the rest of the year and try to create new elements for the display. I'm reworking the dancing tree, the mega tree strands, and building a 360 degree fan for this year. I also want to incorporate a few more leaping lights if time permits! Thanks for asking! I use Windows Movie Maker to "mute" the audio from the camera and then I add an audio track (mp3) and sync it to the video. The audio will sound much better that way! Good luck!!!

Also check out Holdman com it has the 08 and soon will have the 09. version. 150,000 lights, 176 channels. Takes over a month to assemble. The light show accepts donations and has often collected thousands of dollars for 'Make A Wish'. Many reindeer will soon be 'Up and Running' on 09 display... after it snows. flixxy com has it also.

You would have to have LOTS of money. Most of these people have about 15,000 lights and their own radio station for it. And they start putting them up around Sep. or Oct.
