You need to read, as Jewish settlements were legally purchased from wealthy arab land owners starting in the late 1800's in addition to Jewish communities in Palestine since ancient times. During this period they completely controlled the borders (who got in/out etc.) and had full administration over the Palestinians (however many were left after being exiled to several Middle-Eastern countries). The only difference made by Israel withdrawing the army, but continuing occupation, was that the Israeli Army couldn't shoot as many civillians.

In an interview with a U.N. official, they said that they found no evidence of there ever having been Hamas weapons in the U.N. school that was blown up, although Israelis released a different story, saying that they knew Hamas was working there. If the U.N. is coming forward with the story, this shows that there is a big fabrication on Israel's part.

You need to read, as Jewish settlements were legally purchased from wealthy arab land owners starting in the late 1800's in addition to Jewish communities in Palestine since ancient times. This was before Israel took over Gaza and the West Bank (which were ruled by Egypt and Jordan). 1948 Israel was est. on land legally PURCHASED but that did not stop the invading Arab armies AIDED BY THE PALESTINIANS. Once Palestine was viewed as Greater Syria. Egypt and Jordan ruled over Gaza and the West Bank and there were no claims of a Palestinian state. Britain created Jordan to absorb the "Palestinain Arabs" which was 80% of Palestine 20% for the Jews....and now they want even that.

@rapeterror1 Israel never ceased the occupation of Gaza, they simply withdrew soldiers from INSIDE the area and proceeded to surround it. During this period they completely controlled the borders (who got in/out etc.) and had full administration over the Palestinians (however many were left after being exiled to several Middle-Eastern countries). The only difference made by Israel withdrawing the army, but continuing occupation, was that the Israeli Army couldn't shoot as many civillians.

Israel is using USA funded ammunition to kill children, and women even when there is no Hamas Militia in the area. At the UN school far more civilians than any Hamas members. Some civilians housing bombed had no hamas in the area.

I'm actually wondering how many of these claims of Palestinians hiding behind children are even true. In an interview with a U.N. official, they said that they found no evidence of there ever having been Hamas weapons in the U.N. school that was blown up, although Israelis released a different story, saying that they knew Hamas was working there. If the U.N. is coming forward with the story, this shows that there is a big fabrication on Israel's part.

Well, whether 9/11 was staged or not, we realize now that it wasn't the real reason for going to Afghanistan. The reason for that was because the Taliban started burning their own Opium fields, in order to end American exploitation of their crops, which America was getting for dirt cheap. Uh wtf. No, they never planned to let go of the west bank. And they still have a crippling blockade on Gaza to this day. Blockade is a nice transition from Occupation, but it isn't freedom. Why should Hamas have to wait any longer for the freedom of their brothers in the West bank and the end of the blockade. And just so you don't retort with the stupid arab-on-arab notion, they don't care that Egypt helps the blockade because Israel is the initial enemy.

The fact is that the Israelis let go of Gaza to see if it would improve security and result in peace if they did. They took a huge chance and a great risk. The reply? Rockets.
Who will be suicidal enough to let go of the West Bank now that letting go has proven to be a failure? There was no blockade until Hamas fired rockets. Hamas had every chance to prove they wanted peace. Blame them.

Hilarious. Arab wars of aggression caused Israel to protect itself in self-defense. If in the cause of the war, Israel happens to seize lands by conquest, it's not "stolen" -- international law clearly allows the expansion of land by conquest as a result of war -- especially when that war is a war of self-defense as 1967 was.
Blame the Arabs for being aggressors. You start wars, you lose, you have no room to whine about losing land as a result.

If hamas started attacking Egypt, the world would let it happen because Arab blood is worthless to them (continuation of last comment on me being an imbecile). What about the fact that Israel advanced on the Suez canal, which had been abused by the British for decades before? Egypt had every rite to protect that canal. Not to mention the massacres that took place in Gaza where hundreds of Israelis pushed back the Egyptian military.

They lost the land that rightfully belonged to them for centuries only 60 years ago, so you can understand why the fight is still alive. Israel has actually prevented people from leaving Gaza for decades, and still prevent people from leaving the West Bank today. Not to mention that there is still a crippling blockade put on Gaza. There are many things that Israel has done that have not been addressed. Such as, the imprisonment of 11,000 palestinians, most of which are innocent. none r freed yet

Absolute poppycock. If Gaza wasn't rocketing Israel -- which was done immediately after Israel left Gaza in 2005 -- there would be no need for a blockade.
The EU and the United States consider Hamas a terrorist entity. A blockade is wholly justified when that terrorist entity is attacking Israeli civilian centers.
Terrorists like Hamas do not want peace. They want perpetual war. Otherwise what explains rocketing Israel even after they've left Gaza at considerable cost?

That doesn't mean that what happened to the Natives is fair. And BTW, we leave the Natives alone in their reservations. They don't live under an occupation that imprisons them within their own land, like the Palestinians do. We don't build homes on their reservations. We don't imprison innocent native americans for no reason. Don't get me wrong, the two situations are very similar and I'm a strong advocate of Native Americans, but what's happening to Palestinians today is more severe.

Funny, because there are no records in the centuries before Israel was created where Palestinians would use terrorist attacks against Jews. They did have a Jewish minority before Israel was created, and the 2 groups lived harmoniously. Funny how terrorist groups surfaced in bulk only after Israel was created. The answer is that Arabs have/had their share of Jewish minorities, But the foundation of Israel represented an end to Palestinian life. The zionists were never friendly like the arab jews.
