My 2nd day in Tokyo and I score tickets for his performance in the Spiral Hall ('87). Can't remember exactly which of his pieces we saw but he blew me away. He and his troupe made me feel I had never really seen modern dance until that performance.....

Thanks for posting this! I'm a big fan of Teshigawara's - I saw him when he first performed this piece in Tokyo almost fifteen years ago. Where did you get this footage? Is this from the New York performance last year? Is it available on DVD?
