I had the honor of hosting a show in Oklahoma City back in the early days of this great music, on KJYO Jan Herlocker(sic) hosted before me, John Zondlo did after me. The show was originally called Lifesong, when the station changed formats we called it Joysong and I hosted the show up until June 1982 when John Zondlo took over while I traveled with The Continental Singers. Bob and Jayne were real pioneers in this music and I am grateful for having a small part in its history. Great Memories!!
i saw them back home in pennsylvania back in 87 got there cd yall should go to their website farrelland farrell.com, a friend of mine gave me their early works cd
I saw them briefly on Extreme Home Makeover las night and had no idea they had been so affected by the floods. I love their music and listen to it today. A lot of their music is on iTunes(YAY) plus they sell some CDs on their website.
To shezascooterlady: My wife and I sang the song to each other at our wedding 27 years ago. It became a prophetic statement over our lives and we've since lived out the lyrics. I wonder how many other weddings had "After all Those Years" sung.
I saw them in 1979 in Grand Island NE. I loved the song, Good Shepherd, best. Could you possibly make that a video? I don't have the album anymore...long gone. Thanks. Hope to see it here sometime.
Saw them in concert in OKC in the 80's and still have "Let The Whole World Know - Live" album. Just don't have a way to play it anymore. Loved "After All Those Years" so much we had it sung at our wedding 24 years ago today. Could you put that song on YouTube also? Thanks!

HaHa, they were released right in the same time period, and use very similar instrumentations, I could see why you might think that, thanks for commenting :-)
Thanks for commenting, the chorus is definitely the best of their songs, it's so catchy, funny, it's another one of those songs that is a Christian song, but is cleverly worded just right, to where it could also be a love song lol, I have had two comments on Farrell and Farrell videos today, it's a good day, I've been trying to help get their names back out there, if you like this, you should check out the video I posted earlier, with clips of every song on the Christmas album
I agree, Bob and Jayne are the best, and Jayne is one of the very best female vocalists of all time, I can't think of very many that can even come close
They have a new Christmas album out, and Bob has a new solo one out on sale at their website, the Christmas one is magical
They deserve to still be household names, like Amy Grant is, at least I think so lol
sorry, but who're they? :)

I understand they just lots everything they had in the Nashville floods. I live here, and it's pretty bad.

@daratucker You mean that Bob and Jayne lost everything in the flood ?
Is that where they live now ?

@VinylCountryMusic Yes. They did. They're in Nashville.

@daratucker That's too bad. I wonder if " everything " includes the " master tapes " of their albums :-(

Thanks for the comment, and for rating :-)
it's my favorite song by them, it has a very " late 70s " sound to it, that makes it awesome lol
