Just saw this film for the 1st time. It was quite creepy and I don't suggest watching it alone. At times, it seemed over-directed 20 years after its creation. Nevertheless, Firth pulled off the LeDuc character very well. I loved his twitchy complexity - kept me guessing throughout. It's one of Firth's great acting skills, the way he uses his eyes - one is never quite certain what's behind them.
