  • 0:43 either you misspelled jing chang, or you mispronounced it, it says for a flat tone but you used the scoop tone? I'm confused D:

  • do you have l or 2 month intensive classes in shanghai??

  • benny is clear mind i woulnd joke myself cause to let him earn my ordinaries

  • Rang women mei tian xue xi Putonghua! Xie xie.

  • benny, dude, you have to check the images in this vid - I saw at least 4 mistakes:

    0:31 "chang1" instead of "chang2"

    0:53 same

    1:09 "wo3 you3 shi2 chi1 hou KFC"???

    1:30 "mei3 tian1 - Usually"???

And I'm only starting to learn :P

  • @therealmicksa are you still learning Mandarin, and how far did Benny take you, if I may ask? They're great lessons, but the lack of proof-reading, sometimes makes it confusing. Tones and word placement is inconsistent on more than one lesson, as you've noted.

  • hi benny, i wanna learn chinese, i wanna start from the beggining of the alphabet.

can you please upload a video about alphabet, please.

  • @gopatas My friend, Chinese doesn't have an "alphabet" you can learn persay. What you see are Chinese characters, and there are thousands of them.

You'll have to ask someone who knows more about them as I'm not very experienced, but almost every word in Mandarin has its own unique character, or is made up of two or more compound characters. Ask Benny!

  • Hay Benny, on a scale of 1-10 ( 1 being easy, 10 being the hardest) how would you rate the difficulty of learning mandarin? Also, if i were to buy the rosetta stone language program for my computer would that be a good way to learn, or would it be a waste of money?

  • is it also correct to say wo bu xi huan zhou mo gong zuo to mean i don't like to work on weekends?

  • Yeah, you could say that. Your Chinese is very good!

  • that's right

  • @phiby424 I was just thinking the same thing :O

  • Great lessons, but I realized that chī does not look like character above "chī". "chī" and "hou" are switched in pinyin row...

  • good job Benny!

  • Thank you!

  • do you teach individual lessons?

  • Yes! We have offline individual class in Shanghai.

  • Another great video but could you clarify something please?

My Collins chinese dictonary says jing chang means day to day and usually is Tongchang de? Please help I am confused now!!

  • Hi beth2977, They are both correct. There are many ways to explain a same meaning. Jing chang and tong chang is the same meaning "usually". But I just want to teach one at a time. :)
