@qfour20 the 2010 lancer does come with traction control, not the other models if your looking for a used car.

2.4L solves the problem quite nicely. My only problem with the car is no effin telescopic steering :(

16 horses is still a noticable difference....Yes I agree it isn't a lot but you can feel the difference, especially when you start adding the bolt-ons.

@LilRedDirtDevil Also consider where the power and torque band comes in (rpms). The base model is a 2.0ltr and the 09+ has the 2.4ltr. So proabably how its tunned to deliver better in power vs. the 2.0ltr. Just my guess. Also like you said, I'm betting its one of those where it has decent power but just a little more would be the sweet spot. Its too bad the Lancer does weigh a lot for a "compact" car. Its about 2,800lbs to over 3,000lbs. that's a lot for this car and segment. IMO.
