  • Very nice job man!! :) love the vette!!

You should check out my channel!!

  • awesome grand sport stripes! I have them on my 86 z51 vette

  • Your first win too :] nice car. Someday I'll learn how to drag race.

  • its called engine braking.. those who drive sticks should know that

  • I have a 92 Vette and i love the car, I have a hyperchip in it and cats cut off and a cold air intake. Its been the best car i've ever owned and i've owned many cars !

  • my dad has corvette 1979 i like it he's going to give it to me when i am older nice driveing man plzz respond!!

  • Awesome :), 2 thumbs up.

  • my dad always taught me to drive cars well. he prefeered to take me him self than I do it my self and end up crashing or something LOL... that when I was 18... he taught me double clutching heel and toe and other cool stuff ... to keep the engine safer when going around the tracks... my firt car was a mustang gt , and know i have an M3 e46 2002 way better car. I like how his dad teachis him i remember those times

  • lt1 vettes are easily 13 second cars, zr1's are a 12 second ride. Looking good out there, I'm sure you had a blast. I hope to be out there this year!!

  • Cool! Vettes Rule!!!! Especially the C4s!

  • Are you kidding that is daddies 'vette.

  • no its a six speed

  • is this a 4 speed vette

  • were you nervous the first time by yourself? lol i probly would have been

  • Man you learn quick! I liked this vid..

  • "slow it down with the engine" ? I'm LMAO!

  • @N20LT4 i guess u never drove a stick before..? you can slow the car down with just the engine and save your brakes somewhat

  • lol. I know what he meant, it just sounded funny. :)

  • @N20LT4 haha alright

  • @N20LT4 why are you "LMAO"ing?

  • Nice. Just a question, but why would you "slow it down with the engine"? Don't you mean the transmission, and why not just use the brakes? Just a question no harm.

  • you use both the brakes and the engine to slow the car, its hard on the brakes to only stop with the brakes at speeds over 100, thats when you get major brake fade, so it helps to let the engine slow it down as well.

  • Oh I see. I was thinking that it would be much cheaper to replace brake then a transmission but I understand. Thanks :)

  • @greatrace53

It's a good idea to rev-match the tranny to the engine if you're downshifting to slow down. Just shifting down with out rev-matching is actually just going to wear out your trans faster. Brake pads are a lot cheaper than putting a trans in.

  • 3200 is not where you launch an lt1 corvette. lower the rear tire pressure to 26 psi, launch from 2500 rpm and shift when it hits 5700. you will drop your 1/4 down to 13.6

  • for an even better time use Firestone firehawks, launch at 2200 and you may pull off a 13.2.

  • a stock 300 hp '92 vette is NOT going to run a 13.2 .A ZR-1 that year would barely run that.

  • Good call, That must have been a typo. I'm sure I meant to say 13.4

  • @bronxboyXXX

you are right I launch my lt1 camamro at 2500. bytheway like you said that guy has to lower his rear tires pressure, do a real burnout, and get better reation times. and do some power shfting, or at least shift better, he just made the corvette look like a slow car(mustang)

  • best part was when u smoked that mustang

  • mustang now > govt. motors vette

  • Was that your Dad teaching you? Awesome! Good job for both of you. I have a 01 and a 92 Vette. The 92 is a far better drive as far as sports cars go. The 01 is more comfortable, less noisy, roomier, etc but the 92 is where the fun is.

  • Man, you're good. How much did that vette cost you?

  • nice! but nothing better than hot chiks dirty panties

  • It's best he learned how to do it the rite way rather than fishtail it into a divider or break the transmission from improper shifting.

  • vetts tough. Breaking the transmission is not so easy but loosing control under power is . My advice to this kid is to take it very easy for the first year of ownership. In other words leave the ASR on and don't corner fast. It will do a 360 if you corner at 30mph with your foot off the gas. So learn how to drive this car. Its unlike any other. In time he will learn to love it even more.

  • going on the green is way too late.

  • Nice run,Good to see a young man at the track and not racing on the street, just not worth it,stay on the track and your time will get better.Nice Vette.

  • great job

  • Good Job

  • lol i was at the time. good guess

  • u were only 16?? damn not bad

  • he looks like hes 16

  • Good job bro!

  • nice run man!!!!!!!!

  • Nice draggin'!

  • From a roll tho I think the 6 speed would be faster. Because their drivetrain is alot stronger. They have the DANA 44 and Autos have the DANA 36. I only have 2.59 gearing so my car really only pulls up top.

  • Really? I thought 6 speeds were faster... Im always down to race! haha Im only 20 how old are you?

  • Hey man nice run! I have a 92 yellow C4 too! With the black GS stripes. I have Slp intake and no mufflers, but mine is auto I hit a 13.5 on friday night! I posted a video check it out man!

  • Awesome mods I got Borla cat back exhaust,Vortex rammer cold air,Grannatelli Mass Air, BBK 52mm throttle body and Hypertech programmer..

  • open air intake, K&N filter, exhaust, highflow cats.

  • hey bro what mods do you have done to your c4?

  • good job lil' man

  • u lucky to be 16 and have a corvette
