hmmmmm, i dont think that american millitary bands sound that great. but then i grew up listening to the Royal Marines and bands of the Household Division. each to their own i guess.

In 2010 the band was 10 X 12 for 120 musicians. This year's band was 9 x 13 for 117 musicians.

I notice the instrumentation set up of this year's Marine Band is quite different than the past few years. The overall balance and blend is better. I can hear the woodwinds, and the trombones are much more musical.

@SelmerTPT I also noticed that they are marching 9 across and they typically march 10 across in this parade. They sounded and looked great as they always do!
