What do I feed them. I'm trying to breed my birds.I'm 12 years old but, yeah so can u help and they ate scared of me cuz I brought them from a pet store,
@EquestJess55 Thank you. Glad you enjoyed our baby video. Yes, we hand fed this clutch after pulling the babies at two weeks old. The Daddy bird is a Dutch Blue and the Mommy bird is a Normal Green Peach Faced lovebird.
okaay well I have 4 lovebirds and I have a really big cage and 2 nest boxes the same as yours with nice cotten from the pet store my birds keep laying eggs alot like 4-5 and they never hatch whaat do I do ?
@svlion1977 Breeding lovebirds is not something I would recommend lightly. It is very time consuming and there are many safety steps to properly raise and avoid loss as you mention. Our breeding started by accident but luckily found lots of help online. I would check out stargazrt4 on YouTube for lovebird breeding info and videos. We used them when raising our first clutch and could not have done with without their help.
@PootersPlace I breed and tame Rainbow Lorikeets. i have done some more research since i wrote my last msg. i dont think it will be much different. just trying to find the colours i am after
@micah163 This box was purchased from a local Petco for under $20.00 and I believe it is made of pine wood. We have used it for all three of our baby lovebird clutches so far and it has worked out great! :)
@PootersPlace how old were they then in this vid and is this the age they can be apart from thier parents and to be trained? answer quick plz! anyone who knows these answers answer as soon as possible!!!
@clubpenguin1363 This was the cage the babies were placed into on day 37. They were "pulled" from their parents at two weeks and were in the nest box until day 37 when we put them in the weaning cage. Yes, this is the cage they stayed in while they weaned and we continued training/taming them. Hope that helps.
@MrMrFernyy Yep, the babies really preferred to have the nestbox on the floor so they could come in and out easily in their new weaning cage. Think I may do the same setup for my latest brood :)
hey whate drink do they drink cause im trying to get them to drink water but they cant drink it so i think i need alittle of help..

@EeLaMSaRu Are you sure you have a male/female pair? If you do there could be many reasons the eggs do not hatch.
