@ValkoDeath That's debatable. I've seen some comparable work from the two. Something like his ESC track is honestly comparable to Loomis' Miles of Machines. Sure, they play different styles and people will prefer one to the other, but as far as technical skill goes, they're definitely in the same league, and if one's better than the other, it's by a few hairs.

Most bands these days drop tune at least 1 whole step to sound "heavy"... this guy just does it in drop D.

@killyou45 Slinkier strings have better sounding pinch harmonics. Thus, Drop B > Drop D. Drop D is lame. The sound is a lot more full on a lower tuned guitar, the pinch harmonics are better. Besides even this guy you're commenting to plays a ton of his stuff I've seen in D standard.

@GitarrPwnz That's a matter of opinion. To me, I can't play in Drop B unless I have heavy strings. Slinky strings feel like they're not there to me.

And with the experiences I've had, slinky strings just sound muddy and terrible. Again, it's a matter of opinion. This was mine.
