No difference, except that the left bugle has piston valves and the right bugle has rotary valves. The confusion in bugle ?= flugle is an unfortunate mishap in American naming. The French are the only ones who got it right: Bugle==Flugel, and valveless signal horn (which US calls "bugle") is really called "Clarion".
