  • Aww, I love it! They did a nice job, and the choreography is great, too!

  • sigh... i want those arms sooooooooo bad!!!

  • @thatregal i did every kind off dance class from 3 to 10 years old, and then I had a break for 5 years, I started again when i was 15.5, im now 16 and i have now been put in the intermediate class...not because im good, but because my other teacher couldn't do it anymore so im doing my first lesson in intermediate. im REALLY nervous because i'm really not that good :s

  • I thought it was really nice, its a beginners class for a reason :) loved the costumes

  • I thought it was really nice (: and its a beginners class for a reason, its good that they are getting into dancing :)

  • Beautiful ! :)

  • haah All i see is a munch of skinny arms:)

  • boooo

  • musicalmelancholycow is right though ^_^

I want to learn ballet aswell and I'm 15

    (for fun though)

  • i am 12 years old i start ballet you can do it too

  • @cutietiffany11 I'm starting next year and by then I will be 15 (: I can't wait (:

  • WTF is thiz

  • i think some more turnout in the arabesque would be good

  • they are also slouching way too much. and your right balletdancer980 about their toes

  • the biggest problem was not pointing their toes, but good choice of music and nice coreography!

  • Sheesh, they're beginners! Give them a break. They're not professionals. If they decided to become dancers as teens, so what? There's no age limit to what you want to do.

  • what music is this?

  • Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovski

  • The tutu looks good

  • This is good, it looks so much like a scene from Giselle, is it?

  • holy, thats pretty bad you gotta pointe your toes. but for a very first beginner class i would accept

  • is this song from swan lake?

  • They need to point their toes

  • POINTE YOUR TOES!

  • I actually liked this for a beginner ballet class. The movement waswas pretty, not perfect but pretty.

  • wow this is really bad. I would recommend that your sister does the opposite of ballet... anything but ballet. Maybe football or something were you don't have to point your toes. (Because she obviously can't.)

For real don't embarrass the art.

  • no offense but who choreographed that? i kno 10yr olds that could do that dance

  • me too but its teen ballet for begginers u no...?

  • The choreography isn't that creative. The costumes are beautiful though. :]

  • excuse me that was my sister on my account and fyi i dont know much about ballet but i know for a fact my little sister is actually amazing at it and shes not in a beginners class im sorry that she offended you but dont all start saying shes crap when you dont know ok its freekin youtube! she is not a bitch she was just saying what she thought and tbh i watch her dance shows and hers is a lot more complicated than this ok? well done its lovely for what it is.
  • Umm... duh people THIS IS FROM SWAN LAKE!

wth its NOT walts of the flowers!!(i shood kno ive danced 2 that music 2 many times 2 count!)

  • Bahaha, I knew I'd danced to it lol. My bad...

  • nutcracker?!?!?

    durr

  • Btw, can someone tell me... Is this music from LaBayadere?? It's going to bug me till I know for sure lol

  • No, it's not from La Bayadere, it's from Nutcracker (Waltz of the Flowers)

  • Fair go! Dancers ARE bitchy! Let's bear in mind people that none of these girls are claiming to be "company standard" I encourage anyone who wants to jump in at whatever age and give it ago and TAKE IT EASY because that's all they're doing!

I teach girls who have been dancing longer and you know, it's not an easy job... So also a big well done to the teacher who has done SOMETHING with them, when people like yourselves are vindictive and unsupportive. Kudos to them I think it's quite sweet!

  • you guys are really rude, teen ballet is supposed to be a ballet class for teens who have never done ballet and are to old to join an actual level!!! i think they did good!! and i go 2 a really strict ACADEMY!!!!:)

  • yes, you are being nasty.

its obviously a begginers class, you probably sucked worse when you started, your ego will eventually lead to your downfall.

    bitch.

    <3333333:D

  • yea......you are being nasty. and i bet you're not much better than they are. in fact, you're probably worse, because for a beginner/intermediate class they were great.

  • these people suck i mean really it looking like scrambled eggs!

  • i m sorry but that dance was not well choreographed

  • all they did was port de bras and arabesques. they were low to. i have higher ones. how old are these girls anyway. cuz i do more than that in a one hour class. i have been dancing for awhile and i do not know any teacher that would put her kids out there doing that. my cousin did more for her show and she is 7. keep working.

  • this sucks..did they learn anything?

  • most of the profeshional dancers in major ballt companies started after the age of 10, if they can start at that age and get that good so can you if you really work for it. trust me if you are ment to dance it will come...eventually. word of advice: pointe your feet! and in a lage group try to stay together as much as possible.

  • well you dont have the best technique but keep working..

  • not to good

    they have bad tech

and they are not good for there age at alll

  • r they on pointe??? I can't c....it was ok

  • will you all shut up! not every ballerina out there has to be perfect!

  • i thought the dance had nice choreography :-)

  • calm yourselves people!

its just a beg/int recital JEEZ

    That was cutee for beg!

  • well ballet is easyer if you have done it from ayounger age but if its something you are going to stick to then give it a shot i started wen i was 4 and now i am 10

  • not always the case, as i tell my students, if you want it you can achieve it, it is only a matter of how HARD you are willing to work. I have only been dancing for 4 years (i am 21) and i now perform professionally and teach. Even if you do start at a young age, it is not time that matters, but how hard you WORK

  • thank you so much austinvs. i am 14 and just starting ballet. i really needed the encouragement. thanx to you, i know that i didn't have to start when i was two! ^^

  • Well said, you are very right!

  • This comment is in reply to austinvs

  • very beautiful costumes! :-)

  • wow. i'm 13 and looking at starting ballet. would you recommend it?

  • of course

its never too late. if you want it and if you work, you´ll be an amazing ballerina dont worry

i just give you an advise: thers a lot of excelent videos in this site. watch them and try do imitate. be careful with the hard steps. dont hurt yourself, ok?

if you´ll work really hard in one year you´re doing pointes and thats awsome

    i wish you good luck

  • Point your toes girls!!!! Good though! Not much of the choreography though.

  • AMEN POINT is a big issue with these girls

  • No offence, but that was awful. They should be able to lift their legs at least 90 degrees. And the coreography is lacking terribly.

  • I will agree that it wasn't the best, but you can't expect girls at that level to be able to have 90 degree arabesque, it will come with time, but unless you are a dancer, you don't understand what it takes to get there.

  • I actually AM a dancer and Gosh they're not too good at all. If it's teen ballet I expect them to be alot better than that, you know! They were awful. I'm higher than 90 degrees and I'm only 12 so, they better catch up.

  • Well i guess it depends on what type of studio you go to. I go to a very hard core studio where 10 year olds are expected to have 90 degree arabesques... but if they're doing it recreationally, i think it is fine. Try not to be haters everyone!! ^-^;;

  • I also attend a very, very strict studio, BUT, if you are teaching proper ballet technique, informed by kinesthetics and our current knowledge of how the body moves, you do not force young girls to have a 90º arabesque, if you do they are likely to rely too heavily on back flexibility. That is simply awful, if you rely to heavily on flexibility, you will quickly develop back problems, and will not be able to dance for very long at all

  • i'll agree with your opinions, but i said "expected" they don't force anyone to do anything.

  • uuhh...

  • is this real or computer graphics?

  • congratulations to those dancers!!! bravo 4 the ballet!!
