@FatRedneckTerrorist say that to a sanshou fighter's face asshole. look up cung le, a kung fu fighter in a cage showing it how it is. @muker123 Do you have some sort of mental retardation? I said I do not prescribe to the creation theory( "god" creating everything). You can believe anything you want black man I could not care less what goes through you tiny little negroid brain.
@muker123 I do not prescribe to the theory of creation. Also my view of the word "nigger" is more of a descriptive of the characteristics of how someone acts rather than the color of their skin. And if you are talking about a judgement day then I will assume your talking about a Abrahamic religion (Judaism, Islam and Christianity) then there would not be a "nigger" passing judgement on me because in those religions, God is not human.
these niggers will never amount to anything except jail inmates. They are so stupid to not even realize they are being institutionalized in the ghettos and bred for jail. God I hate niggers they are just a burden on the tax payer dollars with welfare/government programs. Id rather my hard earned money go to people that deserve it not some lazy, big lipped jigabo. FUCK ALL NIGGERS
Ha, This guy is a wanna be fighter. Why dont you get in the ring/cage an fight for real old man. Oh yea an wats the deal with your bats, u cant fight 1 on 1 you gotta use weapon's. haha.
@FatRedneckTerrorist I will agree modern Wushu is not very functional, the older Chuan Fa principles are very discrete. Japanese arts actually have origin in China. People talk about Karate as a Japanese art, but it is actually Uchina/OKinawa which was deeply rooted in CHinese CHuan Fa. Believe me, I know how you feel, So I went to Asia...it is there...it is just that hard to find. If you are interested, there is a guy here in N.C. that teaches very discrete. Send me a email!.
that was a real pleasure to see and hear. His wisdom, humility, joy, and intellect make this man someone easy and interesting to be around. i would like to see what i could learn from him as well.
Lets do a small history of the martial arts. First three places it ever have martial arts are Africa, Greece and India. Egyptian stick fighting and wrestling from Africa, Pankration from Greece, and kalaripayatu from India. I know i spelled that last one wrong. It was the india monk darma who passed the martial arts to the shaolin temple and thus onto all other asian arts. Without the chinese influence, japanese, thai or korean wouldnt have had any techniques until later down the history. study!
The fact of the matter is, people on here flaming this guy only prove how lacking in intelligence and self awareness they are. Anyone with any real Martial Arts back ground or ever been in real fights with skilled fighters should be able to tell this guy is the real deal based on how he acts, talks, and moves. Watch the other videos he's in it's very easy to tell he knows what he's doing and what he's talking about...
@heyflanders24 I will admit his personal image doesn't help much in his favor. Yeah he probably was boasting alittle about the teaching celebrities. But anyone with knowledge of martial arts can tell he definite has alot of useful things to teach, even outside of martial arts.
this cat is cool man, i like his style, if the world was ok with being inadequate, then we could begin to focus on adequacy. it is only when we are not afraid to die, that we truthfully can live, i think this brother herd that. peace
This guy is SO full of shit. He does NOTHING but fight against willing opponents in slow-motion. He's an egotistical self-proclaimed "monk" of sorts. He's a fucking con man, and I can say with confidence that HE CAN NOT FIGHT AT ALL. NOT AT ALL.
@CalicoatMaker now now brotha. you cant say that about him unless you know him. seek him out if you wish to say such things, and validify them. peace man.
@CalicoatMaker People that get on here and flame Tai Chi have more then likely never even seen any of it other then the forms and push hands. Also you've never met this guy or seen how he fights. Also many people have never even seen Tai Chi used in real application before. Most think it's all about slow movements that's mostly a misconception. At higher levels once it becomes more fluid for you. You start to get into the hard and soft part of the style and the fast and slow.
This bum actually knows what he is talking about... I couldn't believe he was serious until 4 minutes passed by and I was totally mesmerized by his unassuming intellectuality.
Simply amazing! Its so rare to see someone who really gets Tai Chi, one of the most authentic, caring and genuine human beings I have seen in a long time.
Tai Chi as it's practiced is not the same as Tai Chi Applied.
Practiced slow but applied very fast with internal power drawn from the Earth.
Leveraged rooting and up rooting. Maintaining the center. Sensing your opponents moves and countering them softly, Dissolving an attack. This is Ta Chi Applied.
My experience. A fighter can spend a few weeks in a boxing gym and get in shape, a few months and can learn to bust some heads. A kick boxer might spend a year training to kick asses. It takes a few years (generally) to get a black belt in Karate. Only in kung fu, tai chi, wing chun and bagua does it take decades to perfect. The martial arts that require entire lifetimes for refinement are not for everyone though everyone might benefit from some exposure.
A friend of mine used to say "karate is a folk art and kung fu is a fine are"
My father and him also used to say " there are two types of people to learn to fight from. Soldier/Warrior type and Monk/Priest type. A Soldier will teach you how to hurt and kill people but a Monk will teach you how to not get hurt or killed. Who would you rather learn from?"
Most people answer too quickly without thinking about why
look up kyokushin vs kungfu and you'll have your answer. I think i'll take kyokushin and actually be able to not get hurt by learning how to "hurt others" as you put it.
@SAMKREATOR You never have only two options. Philosophy out the window. Choices are as numerous as the stars but unlike the stars your options are always changing with every passing moment. You can always chose to run. I have walked and talked my way out of more dangerous situations than I've fought my way out of. No one ever has to be killed. People chose to kill or not to kill. War is ultimately people choosing to go to war with other people. Not saying it's always wrong. Hitler...duh.
@dcmaurer18 Ive been studying and practicing karate for 47 years, and karate is not at all about hurting/killing people. Karate is self defense. Have you seen the karate kid? Karate (pronounced "Kah-rah-tay") is a Japanese word that means empty hand and refers to a karate student's ability to offer a defense without the use of weapons. Now there are some forms of karate that offer a more aggressive style than my goju-ryu.
@TWizRippin True. Very true. The art of Karate is not an offensive art like kick boxing or Krav Maga. Developed by farmers and fisherman to defend themselves against samurai, Karate originates from Okinawan Kai (as seen in Karate Kid 2). If you recall the story of the drunk fisherman who gets blown all the way to China and comes back with the secret to Okinawan Karate. This is a true story. Karate originated from a man who studied Chinese Kung Fu possibly from the Shaolin or a Sifu in a school.
I usually laugh at these New York Kung Fu guys but here is a man who admits you must have some outside knowledge other than Kung Fu. I wish NY martial artist were more like this guy and less like the ones in my video.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend
I am not a JKD expert. That is what I thought. You sorry ass can't come up with the quote and that proves what you said was a lie. Tell me how much time do you need to look it up when you already know what he was saying?
He is a nice guy,but he lives in a diffrent world. i dont believe in his crap.im asking for a lesson:-)a good boxer would show him his training is a waste of time, and he knows it,thats why he is running around with a baseball bat.
@wolfsblut1982 mate it think you miss the point ,boxing is a sport ,tai chi /wing chun was not meant as a sport ,he is not looking to fight boxers ,he said guys who wanted to fight him came with a boxing style. The real boxers would walk on by ,they would see boxing for the art/sport it is and leave the tai chi guy in the park doing his thing.
Boxers that i have met don't talk about boxing much don't even wear the gym gear in the street ,they are mainly humble guys.
He's sounds like he has lots of wisdom. If were interested in Tai chi...I would listen. His philosophy about fighting is weathered through experience. I'm a BJJ guys but he get's the importance of many fighting styles. I'm sure he has put many a people on their ass.
Perhaps true responsibility is born out of great humility. It is not so much to do with the martial arts itself, as the mind-set you approach with. If you want to hurt your fellow human-beings, then you've allready lost, you just don't realise it yet. To be integral in philosophy, yet so fluid in motion, it is an interesting and healthy duality. If i was to take up martial arts, perhaps to imagine the tide rolling in and out over a stone would help to keep a consistent flow to ones soul.
Tai Chi Wing Chun...u break it down all Martial comes from Ganuwa/Atlan Martial-Forms...clue The Word 'Chi'...Chi-Na[most Mandarin Speaking People Have No Idea What This Means...So Don't Put Yourself Down Bro...The 'Chinese' Should Be Thankful...They Have A Ganuwa Practise Missioned To Them Eons Ago!!!!
@absoluteinnercircle : Of Course marital-arts didn't originate in CHina! Read My Post Carefully. If You Are Not Familiar With The Terms, Then Please Ask...All Things Originate Atlan/Ganuwa, NOT ASIA...ASIA JUST CLAIM WHAT WAS TAUGHT THEM BY THE GANUWA & ATLAN PRACTITIONERS OF MY ANCESTRY. PEACE!
@Standardfrank To be honest martial arts didnt ordinate from anywhere it came from all over just look at the word martial meaning war like so martial arts means the war like or warrior arts and everywhere had then and they were all diffrent so dont clain ur ancestry gave us martial arts because that makes you sound like an arrogant ignorent prick
@flameingneji : YOUR INTEL-LIE-AGENCY-WROTE: To be honest martial arts didnt ordinate from anywhere...:=MENTAL-EXCREMENT...To be honest? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? ...arts didnt ordinate from anywhere=UNCONSCIOUS MIND SIGNIFYING NO CAUSE OR EFFECT IN NATURE BY ANY CONSCIOUS-FACULTY EXISTED....Your Mental Bowels Are Constipated...Go & ABUSE Yourself Else Where! U R DISMISSED!
@absoluteinnercircle : Ganuwa =Af-Ra-Ka; Utlan=America...Martial Arts Existed B4 The Pale-Chinese Were Formed 10,000 years Ago...The Pale Chinese Are Not That Old...Our Ancestors witnessed Their Formation...As Usual All Crakka-Zoids Steal Our Stuff And Claim It As Theirs Including Our Quantum-Sciences, Sacred-Relativity/Applied-Geometry, Gravity Architecture, Cosmogony Etc. Mao Silently And Carefully Liquidated The Black Chinese...The Progenitors Of The Chinese Black Shang!
@SingJiya Well judging by his hair, and some of the things that he has said about trying not to hurt anyone, I would assume he's probably a Rasta guy.
Well said bro. I like how you lay it down. The grand ultimate fist should be recognised for its merits regardless of its country of origin, the same way a practitionaire of a style should be recognise for his merits regardless of his ethnic origin.
@HOMEnHIGH its actually a common way to challenge ppl in terms of Chinese Martial Arts. Sometimes people requesting a lesson or to exchange pointers means that they want a challenge.
"you don't look Chinese." I think that many skilled people who teach martial arts aren't Asian, especially here in the US, my TKD teacher was American and his co-instructor was also an he has trained for many years.... hold up, shouldn't he be Korean?! ;) I think it is stereotypes that we people (the ones doing the stereotyping) need to be able to overcome in our minds to open up to the true nature/talent.
who is the person that labels him a black martial artists? Who called him homeless? Do you know him...my word,,,reading your comments shows how sad you are and the fact that you comment on his teeth and hair is sad....i have been to China and i have seen many techers, Sifu's, Shihans, etc that were bearded and missing teeth...but had years of knowledge to share....who are you to judge....please.
people constantly forget one of the things that make people great fighters..experience. in some cases experience wont help. like trying to fight Mike Tyson. a man that says fuck your martial arts..i will break you. but something i've noticed lately..Tyson was a very muscular fighter..and his punches..WITH boxing gloves on..are much faster than the UFC fighters punches..with their 4 ounce gloves. which is amazing because of the power he possessed at the same time.
There are so many fat fucks in the U.S. making health care out of reach for a average guy with an average job. I praise anyone who take the initiative to do any serious exercise that they enjoy for a lifetime. So lets not worry so much about who's martial arts is the best; as long as people do something, anything to take care of their health first.
@nitojo7 - This "homeless guy wineo" is a practitioner of TRUE arts. He was a student of BP Chan, who in case you did not know, was a high level master of the Internal Chinese Arts in NYC. He has trained in many other arts too. Trust me, he is the Real Deal. Mr Sharpe is well respected by many.
@reallybigmike Did you not listen to him? " I don't look all that convincing, but touch me, we'll find out. We'll find out what works, and what is a waste of time".
There you go my friend. He gave you an open invitation.
i'd love to go have a beer with that guy

'Passive' martial arts is great in theory, but disabling your opponent swiftly and decisively, without preamble, restraint or mercy is the surest way to protect yourself. I know it sounds harsh and dishonourable, but when the stakes are high, you owe your attacker nothing and know nothing about what he would do to you if he lands a lucky punch. This is why soldiers, and not monks, fight wars.

Boxers that i have met don't talk about boxing much don't even wear the gym gear in the street ,they are mainly humble guys.
kite2surf 1 year ago

PEACE!

@HOMEnHIGH its actually a common way to challenge ppl in terms of Chinese Martial Arts. Sometimes people requesting a lesson or to exchange pointers means that they want a challenge.
iexcalibui2 1 year ago
@HOMEnHIGH Sometimes the request is answered in a very painful way and
sometimes you shouldn't ask ( challenge)

"you don't look Chinese." I think that many skilled people who teach martial arts aren't Asian, especially here in the US, my TKD teacher was American and his co-instructor was also an he has trained for many years.... hold up, shouldn't he be Korean?! ;) I think it is stereotypes that we people (the ones doing the stereotyping) need to be able to overcome in our minds to open up to the true nature/talent.

people constantly forget one of the things that make people great fighters..experience. in some cases experience wont help. like trying to fight Mike Tyson. a man that says fuck your martial arts..i will break you. but something i've noticed lately..Tyson was a very muscular fighter..and his punches..WITH boxing gloves on..are much faster than the UFC fighters punches..with their 4 ounce gloves. which is amazing because of the power he possessed at the same time.

There are so many fat fucks in the U.S. making health care out of reach for a average guy with an average job. I praise anyone who take the initiative to do any serious exercise that they enjoy for a lifetime. So lets not worry so much about who's martial arts is the best; as long as people do something, anything to take care of their health first.

nitojo7 1 year ago
@nitojo7 - This "homeless guy wineo" is a practitioner of TRUE arts. He was a student of BP Chan, who in case you did not know, was a high level master of the Internal Chinese Arts in NYC. He has trained in many other arts too. Trust me, he is the Real Deal. Mr Sharpe is well respected by many.
