@BritishMovieDrama For some reason my video's will not monetize anymore. They have said under review since they had the new update the other day. I think about 6 days or so ago. I even unmonetized a video that was monetized and it has said it is still under review for 6 days now. Use to it went through instantly. What is wrong anyone know. @JimmyRayhere Yes, I have had that problem, but the de-monetizing bit worked for me, but the whole thing is back to norma mine are now monetizing instantly as they did before. All I can say is it's a glinch that will right it self, Right now, I cannot get to "video manager" page freezes. That's been happening for a week. I think there are many glinches

@JimmyRayhere I noticed on a few of mine that said "under review" I clicked on the video and the ad was there, it may be a glinch in the button, but not the video, click on your videos that say "under reveiw" and check it out, mine is working fine, but you are not alone, there are others having the same problem

Don't hate on ads. Ads are a necessary evil. For one it helps Youtube pay for the expense of billions of minutes of video and ridiculous bandwidth. It keeps Youtube free and prevents it from becoming a Vimeo. We also wouldn't have the great content that is on the site if it weren't for ads because partners use ad revenue to pay for production costs of such channels as BarelyPolitical and Reckless Tortuge. Ads are annoying but neccessary.

It would need some nifty solution like coding a player that syncs up the two videos to make sure they're the same which has to work on line - loads of bandwidth. Why you would need such an app you may ask? So people don't (for example) replace a widely liked video with other crap which may be offensive, effectively framing users and creating the possibility of destroying someone's rep.

This maybe a silly question or already been answerd but its all new to me, so here i go... I own several different channel and 1 of my channels was granted the right of monotization... to be honest im not even sure how?... besides that, how do I get my videos monetized that are uploaded on different channels? or is monitization only available on the channel that monitization has be activated on?.... e.g. I own "icu live productions" and now created a new channel "atlas cleaning"

YouTube has made Fair Use illegal, and they took it a step further with this. That means , if we agree with this, the next video we make with copyright material, even though we added the Disclaimers and mention Fair Use, our videos will get removed (snaps fingers) like that.

The way I see this, the people who dislike this concept are of the same mentality as those who continuously pirate music, video, and software without any regards to the future of the respective industries. Mind you, I was one of those people myself, before the respective industries found better ways to monetize their media.
This is simply a way for content providers to earn money, thereby being able to continue providing content. Those who don't like this, can you suggest a better method?

It would need some nifty solution like coding a player that syncs up the two videos to make sure they're the same which has to work on line - loads of bandwidth. Why you would need such an app you may ask? So people don't (for example) replace a widely liked video with other crap which may be offensive, effectively framing users and creating the possibility of destroying someone's rep.

This shit is stupid. people like us never get any views and properly never will. Sure our views may go up once in a while, but, we never get comments or ratings or no shit like that.

I found many of his comments evasive.
When someone asked a direct question about earnings per different ad, he should have given an example, though there are many different possible answers.
Example, after his disclaimer, he could have said, different ads, on the same vid on the same day in the same city would be X Y and Z.
