@Kamozeloraoz I'm pretty sure the lyrics are concerning Animal rights. Some portions of the lyrics that hint at this : Domesticate me Into your ideal creation Fondle me When in need of attention Brutalise me As a target for your aggression Blind me With cosmetic filth To form the mask that hides your guilt Insecure, uncaring clowns Your dolled-eyes don't see The suffering I've prolonged For your wretched vanity
@Kamozeloraoz It seems to be a "speech" pro animals. I should have read it in some site or rock magazine... I really can't remember... Well, that's it...
A true metalhead cares where that drumbeat came from, so as to acknowledge what amazing band and/or musician came up with it in order to give them credit.
@Project1542 I think you're right about that - the only other time I can recall hearing a beat like that is on Terrorizer's World Downfall album, but that obviously came out a few years after this one.
@Project1542 if you knew one thing about drumming or old school grindcore or hc punk you would know that they got the shuffles from older rock and jazz. everything stems from something so shut your fucking mouth and learn something about music you fucking dumbass
@InfantSuffering Everything stems from something, even if something is stem from nothing. So the point your trying to make is a fallacy. An incorrect reasoning in argumentation resulting in a misconception. The point was made that is not a jazz or rock shuffle. It is anomalous, incomparable, unmatched, unprecedented, unrivaled and exclusive to napalm death. Not all of it but part of it. Oh' you did not like the words that you are reading. FUCKING STOP READING.
@Project1542 Actually, if you listen to "Bloodlust" by Venom, Abaddon was playing that beat. It's just that Mick Harris played it a lot faster. Just saying.

@Kamozeloraoz Chew on my flesh
With perverted lust
Display to me
The depths of your compassion
As you excrete
My digested corpse
Into the shit-pan
My place of rest

Grindcore lesson... the distinct drum beat at the beginning from 0:04-0:39 of the song was strictly napalm death. No other band was using that
style of drumming before.
