  • could barely see through my tears to click on part 6. ugh godspeed sir.

  • hes making excuses for his failure to land. Its easy to land using engines.

  • @Seigu007 I'm sure you know all about it. I'm sure you would of done this whole thing flawlessly, and probably would of went on to discover God. Jesus.

  • @Seigu007

go fuck yourself, ill fucken land the thing on your house, cunt

  • I shed a tear when he was telling the part about the phone call and his wife. Man just made me think about leaving my lady behind.

  • god bless you . . . . . . you good man

  • HEY PEOPLE...!!!!!!see what a real crash site looks like at 400 MPH...!!!!!NOW GO BACK TO FLIGHT 93,AT SHANKSVILLE ON 911 AND THINK.............

  • I was the guy from the 185th Iowa Air Guard who told Denny that he'd okay.

I got to know the family very well and I would just like to tell Denny that "he did make the runway". What an amazing job by an amazing man. May God Bless him today and always.

  • This man is a rambler.

  • This guy makes the pilot who landed in the Hudson look like a noob.

  • I was moved to tears by this video. Truly, truly amazing

  • Amazing and i think i dated this guys younger sister back in high school, i never meet him but what i know of his family, they are great people and very religious so even though I'm not religious myself, makes u kind of wonder about the power of prayer, huh?

  • What a good man...

  • Not to second guess anybody flying that day, but out of curiosity why did they not dump the fuel before they landed? Is that possible on a DC-10?

  • IIRC, they did dump excess fuel, but had to leave a reserve. The throttle was the only thing keeping them afloat after all.

  • @sovietspyguy They didn't have time to dump it.....

  • @sovietspyguy: Wondering the same thing: hydraulic hatch/door/cap lift-off set-up/configuration? Perhaps, as per a "massive system failure" work-a-round redesign ought to require a manual over-ride feature ie, a cable(s) exclusively (a release plug), just for that sort of assembly/emergency scenario fix.

  • I had the pleasure of working at United Airlines when Denny was still flying (he retired in 2003). He's just as he appears in this video... a gentleman.

  • He did good.

  • Some of the best story telling and editing ever. Good viedo

  • Utterly chilling, what masterful storytelling.

  • A good Man.

  • 150 some people died.

  • 111

  • this man is the messiah

  • Amazing
