I've been a fan of Nth Carolina stringband music since 1970 (in those days, original, authentic old-time music, done by original authentic oldtimers). Now, THIS BAND puts out the BEST modern-day stringband sound that I've heard in many a day-especially that lead voice, pure & sweet!! I someday hope to get over there to NC and see the country & hear the music first-hand, for myself. Kinda like what David Hoffman did way back in 1964. Only in my case just for the personal odyssey - no filmmaking.
