  • can i live with you please?

  • don't eat in frnt of us, feelin hungry lik helll.

  • Im copying this right nowwwwww

  • oh baby..that looks guuud!..--BBQ Pit Boys LA

  • too rare for me !

  • the longer you leave them on there the more toaste you will get. it wont really make a difference in toughness

  • Leave mine on another 2 minutes each side pls. :)

This is the closest video you have made to how Aussies do BBQ steaks.

I usually use a propane bbq hotplate to do my steaks and find a better result with better cuts like rump, tbone and fillet than using my weber grill with charcoal..

  • Rub? I'd eat that with just salt and pepper. I'd prefer pink in the middle, not red. -That- lost my appetite -.-

  • love your fucking videos!

  • That guitar solo of that song at the end iS FUCKIN HOT!!!

  • oh god they are red in the middle!

  • MOOOOOO!

  • I like the way he talks !

  • I Can smell it man :)))

  • hahah this is so great, im grillin up some flat iron right now... wish i had the time to do the sides properly

  • No.

Seared and still red 75% through the centre. Once the heat transfer is completed during the resting period, this steak will achieve The Perfect Steak - tender & juicy.

    Rare = fucking delicious.

  • i always feel hungry when watching his shows.

  • steaks, beer , Where are the women?

  • Rare = Fail!

  • Looks Raw!

  • lmao " we're gunna use a couple of teaspoons of salt (pinches salt with fingers)" hahaha ya'll are funny :)

  • Did I hear that Flat Iron Steak still mooooooo'ing?

  • i'd like to ask, don't you have any gator meat recipe ? i think its really nice cajun type of meat, but i just cannot find any fabulous gator recipe

  • 10:45

  • Are those steaks even warm as fast as he had them on the grill lol those are RARE steaks i perfer medium

  • Those are some awesome foods :D

    And lol at that kid.

  • now all you need is a six pack!

  • if i was your son, sir i promise i would do all my homeworks, get high grades in school, in order to get foods from your bbq pit

  • is it bad that when it said flat iron steak i was thinking they'd whip out a hair straightener and cook the meat

  • Look at all that blood!!!

  • ...that looks good , but I think those thumbs up from the guys on video looks little bit fake... I mean , the guy standing on the left chew it little bit hard (dont you think?) or maybe he wasn't hungry... meaning , I'm hungry

  • i dont like it dat rare smh . i rather keep it up there longer

  • Sir you need to invest in a Chefs Knife. Japaneses or German is the type i prefer !

  • @davetteZR1 ....our 1095 carbon steel Old Hickory is as good as it gets, tenderfoot......!

  • @BarbecueWeb ok its cool. i was just sayin...

  • @BarbecueWeb Mr. Pitboy Sir, got any links on where i can buy me such a carbon steel knife? Havent been able to find them here in my back-water country. Much obliged! :)

  • @BarbecueWeb I hear ceramic knives are top notch.

  • @BarbecueWeb I Totaly agree! and if you sharpen it, you'll get one of the most razor sharp knives in the whole wide world!

  • @BarbecueWeb Hey guys,I got me a whole arsinal of old hickorys,Bought me a old hickory cleaver last week! They sharp as hell and the best thing about it is I know my grandkids grandkids will be using them one day.Hope they dont let em rust up!

  • @davetteZR1 You're completely right. These guys sound like good old fashion rednecks.....so they aren't going to buy anything like japanese or german knifes. THEIR LOST!!!

  • @ROBINVSINGH lol yea i know !!

  • @ROBINVSINGH this isnt a smug five star restaurant, its a back yard grill, it aint the knife that makes the man, its the man that makes the knife hahah

  • @davetteZR1 Yeah, I used to think that. and myself have a Kumagoro, and Hitachi, which I spend a thousand on. But the Old Hickory just needs to be steeled more often, but can cut just as well.

  • @davetteZR1 looks like that knife works good for him (: HA!

  • @davetteZR1 You can never replace Old Hickory.....

  • Medium-rare would have been nicer...

  • Forget my new gas grill. I need a charcoal grill. And one of those old hickory knives. Great video guys!

  • I need these guys to cook for me! Also if your looking for an easy way to access more clean viral videos I've made a website for that x

  • real goodt on the grill, i like this guy

  • hey how much charcoal would you need just to cook for 30min and how do you extinguish the flame once your done? first time grilling lol

  • that grub would make a great landin strip for a whole bunch of beers

  • The "tongs flip" is great @ 9:43.

  • you are by far one of the best. i really enjoy you videos...I would put you against anyone that can barbecue...Thank you for the information....

  • I tell you what, I've tried MANY of the recipes on here and these guys are the first chefs to churn out recipes that are bang on everytime.

Big up the house of sausage!

  • @Ghostdog162 I'm sure they arent the first and I'm sure they've had a few flops that you don't see.

  • nice

  • I like the rifles in the background

  • I wish I could hang with these guys at one their bbqs. I'll bring the beer!

  • thats guys make me afraid :Q

  • one thing you do every time is to use the same cutting board for raw and cooked meats.

watch this out you dont want to get poissoned.

correct me if i am wrong

  • @paretonpoulo the Boyz have said many times that between BBQ Pit Boys video shots they take the cuttin' board down to the ol creek and wash it real guuud. Now if you need to see board cleanin' ya'll better go watch Fake Food TV Network. We don't need to see board cleanin' for the germophobes here. lmao

  • @ElPasoTV ..lol..sorry i ve missed that part.but if you get salmonella poisoned and sh*t blood all day you may consider the word germophobe again.

avoid especially raw chicken. and btw i hope nobody get poisoned and i love the show

i love the scenery, the guys and the food

    and i love you elpaso

  • @paretonpoulo well...first off, it's "poisoned" not poissoned..and second, you're not eating it, so what difference does it make?

  • Tri tip, much better.

  • i want to eat it

  • Enough, you guys are spamming the comment box...

  • can you adopt me?

  • If they gave thumbs up to a pile of gravel, I'd probably have a bite

  • sometimes i don't think he means it when he apologizes :(

  • Flat Iron steak is great! Tender and relatively inexpensive, it also works wonderfully sliced thin in a stir-fry...

  • Are you a god? I'll Convert to your religion

  • man these guys know how to feast properly!

  • Damn..i love this...

  • im sure i can smell all your steaks from a mile away

  • i could watch this dude grill all day long

  • Absolutely beautiful. Rare/ Med Rare is the way a good steak should be prepared. I don't have much experience with flat iron steaks but you can count on the fact that I will by this time next week :-)

  • it really looks good but I can't do rare on my meat med well or med just fine with me

  • Great video, and love grilling and do so 2-3 times a week - will have to try a flat iron steak next time! Thank also for showing that grill grate also, will look into buy one of those too!

  • Who ever is his neighbor, he must be hungry allot from smelling all that roasting meat.. :)

  • Real people cooking real food... doesn't get any better!

  • @Deeppack

uhhh.. what makes these people real? The growly voice? Cowboy hats on what I guess are not real cowboys? The random wooden wagon wheel? I guess they ride a wagon to the supermarket?

  • @doctork16: There's always a smart ass who takes things to literal. Mate, they are real in the sense that it's obvious to anyone who knows cooking that the dudes aren't professional Chefs and the food they cook isn't pretentious. But wait, according to you, it's an elaborate set up to make him look like my Redneck uncle who cooks the food we all love to eat.... because secretly, he's really the head Chef of The French Laundry and is a world renowned Michelin Star Winner.

  • @Deeppack I dont mean that I think these guys aren't rednecks, I am sure they are but what makes rednecks anymore "real" than someone else. There are barely any "real" cowboys left, and they certainly don't have time to make cute little videos after working a 13 hour day. So I guess in your world anyone with a southern drawl and acts like they're from the country is "real". Gangster rappers say the same thing about people who act like they are from the "hood" or behave like a criminal.

  • @doctork16 : *Yawns* ... my previous reply obviously went right over the top of your head, mate. I'm not even going to waste my time with you.

  • @Deeppack ...perhaps doctork16 would like to see us ride on into the Pit on Trigger

  • @Deeppack I know what you mean as opposed to fake people cooking fake food!

    NICE VIDEO!

  • I'm a big fan of BBQ Pit Boys and I do apologize that I've accidentally messed up the comment section.

I just wanna know what our boy is saying at around 03:05.

    He goes...

    --------------------

You can use a Texas sweet. "I couldn't hear this part" sweet.

Sweet onions are real good on a pit.

    --------------------

Maybe I'm too curious about their preferences.

    ...and yeah, I'm for Vadalia.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hey now!....don't forget your original stuff......Nice to see you incorporating grand kids or the local paperboy. Awsome. I do miss the blackened Knife you used to use. No big....knife wize...your cooking still rocks.

  • I don't know why anyone would buy sirloin when you can get flat iron...

  • Thanks on were you got the grill grate. I am going to get myself one, I'm thinking Hash browns and Eggs along with a steak, to start the day. I think it would work well once seasoned some.

  • Mmmmm mouth is watering!

  • You should put some LAWRY's marinade and GRILLMATE's rub on that steak .. yummy .. haha haha KIDDING .. those products are horrible!!

  • thats like really raw

  • I bet those flat iron steaks would be great in fajitas, too.

  • ONE MORE TIME IS FANTASTYC¡¡ FOR THE NEX WEKEND

    UUUMMMJUUM

  • i is there i gun behind u

  • i love the rifles in the backround

  • What are some names of these steaks other than flat iron steaks?

  • @Trixisforkidz I ask one question and no one knows?

  • @Trixisforkidz I realize this was months ago, but... "Other names for flat iron steak include shoulder top blade, top blade, and top blade chuck steak."

A quick google search turned up those results. google is your friend. Utilize it.

  • am sorry,what ???

  • What ever happened to the wsm? Do they still have it or are they only using the kettle?

  • Do you know if this cut goes by any other name? I can't find it anywhere! I'm in Canada, maybe we've got a different term?

  • @manicobsession It's just becoming popular in the US... It's the tough strip that runs along side the spinal column. Very flavorful, yet tough, that's why you cook it rare....

  • @TMartinus flat iron is NOT a tough cut of meat. It is almost as tender as a tenderloin....

you are thinking of FLANK.. FLANK is tough.

  • The old knife is back and I'm lovin that new grate boys!!!

  • Great cooking as allways.Love the new gates.Great cooking guys great cooking.

  • does it look real or im just hungry?!?!?!

  • i hate the fuckin beans!

  • How do you get you charcoal to be so tame....with no smoke?

  • These guys are true american heros!

  • Oh man...that grill...woah...

  • by the way, that kid is so cute

  • i thought that was a bit too pink.

  • i would have seared the steak first then cook the onions so the juices form the onions will de-glaze the bottom and be more delicious :D, and while the onions are cooking the meat will be resting :)

  • If a piece of beef is rare, is it safe to eat as long as it reaches the minimum cooking temperature?

  • @pyrolowryder I've never had a problem eating rare beef. It's probably the safest meat to eat rare. In my opinion, rare is the ONLY way to eat a steak. I've known people to eat RAW ground beef and not have any problems, although it's not something I'd prefer to do.

Pork and poultry on the other hand, should definitely be fully cooked.

  • Who's playing the background music? Really good. Anyone knows?

  • Looks good, I would probably go for medium-rare though

  • Hey pit boys.. Been watching your delicious videos for some time..

This night i was hungry, I took a nice big steak, put some sugar on it, and then salt and peber... Then i put it in a bag, and i pured in Jack Daniels Chili sauce in it.. Let it stay for a little.. Put it on my grill pan, some minutes on each side, and then i pured in a lot of beer... Believe me.. I HAVE NEVER tasted anything that good!!! I literally took a picture of it, just to keep it as a memory.. I will grill more often now

  • i just jizzed my pants while watching this breath taking video.

  • fantastic!!domani provo a farle uguali!!

  • this is the way i buy beef it is cheaper and you get a lot more meat.love your videos.

  • You guys rock!

  • I watch NUMEROUS videos of yours.. and am ALWAYS impressed. I must say that those grates look fantastic! I am JEALOUS! :o)
