Funny thing about your video of a 'crowd' being bombed... look closely, its a flock of sheep, one of the funnier goof ups that can happen in war. How can you say air bombing kills more innocent people? Where's the stats for that? Its not like air forces are bombing at random. 99% of bombing now is based on our guys getting shot at.
Where do you get this stuff??? It is a fact that many more civilians than "insurgence" have died. The debate is how much of this killing is intentional. Well, what do you think Bush meant by "shock and awe"? The intent of this administration has been to terrorize. No way a rational person can avoid this conclusion.
What do you think, "shock and awe" was all about? Inflicting terror is the answer. Now, what about retaliation leveling one of the only modern cities in Iraq, killing everything that moves; why did U.S. do such a thing? Insurgence you say, NO. They did it because it was a retaliation for Blackwater goons being treated as they were treating the Iraqi people. Of course, air boming kills more innocents, war kills more innocents than soldiers.
Also how is the opening image of a JSF even applicable? If you're showing wrong planes how can we believe pics of civilians hurt can be attributed to the US? Can you please learn how to spell the country Canada? Define genocide: Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, religious or national group. How is the US pursuing such an agenda? Its pretty obvious that if this was our goal there would be more destruction than there is right now.
You want to know the truth about the video, focus on the killing of the crowd, the voice of the pilot, the source of the footage. Do a little homework.
The whole premise of the song is flawed. Every pilot and weapons officer in the armed forces is college educated. Unless the singer was a pilot or WSO they have no premise to judge what these pilots do or how they think. Musicians like these need to think before they make rash generalizations about an entire military or service. Air power kills a hell of a lot more bad guys than innocent people and these pilots keep the west a hell of a lot safer than your little song and propaganda video did.
Ok, first you do not use the word "premise" correctly or consistently. Of course we have the right to judge what others do without doing it ourselves. Think about what you are saying. No air bombing kills more innocent people than "bad guys", and it is my gall to exercise my right to free speech that keeps me safe, not people willing to kill so blindly.
Why are you blaming the troops (non-mercenaries), they don't ask to go there. The President sends them with the backing of the Congress and Senate who are all put into power by the voters. The civillian leadership asks teses kids to go into difficult situations that the military was not designed to do.
The Vietnam protests were very successful for the communists. North Vietnamese Colonel Bui Tin, who served under Gen. Giap on the general staff of the North Vietnamese army, received South Vietnam's unconditional surrender on April 30, 1975.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal after his retirement, Col. Tin explicitly credited leaders of the U.S. anti-war movement, saying they were "essential to our strategy."
and now we trade with them, the president comes over here for visits and we vacation there now. much, much better than dragging out a war that was never meant to end becuase of its rules of engagement.
i hope you aren't implying that we entered that war to help the Vietnamese people.
the Gulf of Tonkin incident was staged by the CIA to enter us into the war. this is a known fact, declassified and released by the Freedom of information act. that war was for profit.
Well when people enlist that take an oath to serve.Failure to carry out an order, report for duty, go absent without leave can earn you serious jail time. During war it is even a capitial offense. So what are the troops going to do? Fight and get called baby killers and worse by persons such as yourself or go to military prison, face possible execution if they did this during war time?
Ok, there is such a thing as war crimes. A war does not give a soldier the right to do as they please including rape and murder.
Furthermore, have you ever talked w/a "draft dodger" who when to Canida. When we finally said, ok you guys can come home they laughed at us. They are better off in Canida. If your country asks you to commit a crime; it is time to go to jail or leave.
troops today are doing NO good. get the fuck out is what people are telling the trooOOOps. fucking brainwashed subhuman unintellectuaLoosers. wTfRuDOING!?
Blackwater is a personal protection service. They gaurd dignitaries. Look into their website you potsmoker! You idiot to your research. The terrorists are Islamic Extremists that are on Jihad which means Holy War. In case you got a bone in your head thats a religous crusade i.e: The Catholic Crusade 12th century and so on.
The are death squads that should be outlawed on a global level. How many times has G.W. made religious references? Too many for a "secular" government. Wake up!!!
Take a look at Blackwater again. Understand this--- Blackwater and domestic and foreign troops have been used by this administration against the American people. You seem to know nothing of N.O.
"guarding digitaries" is one small thing they do, not the bulk of their opperations. They are a global mercinary army for hire that have been deployed in the Southern U.S. after Katrina. They were not there to rebuild, no more than they are in Iraq to rebuild.
You got it, SM. Global, and huge. Over 600 where deployed in the South after Katrina. This is like, "Beyond School of Americas"; global tyrants, and death squads. For any of you who do not understand there is a new book. Google.
everybody should read AND write. rewrite the history books which teach children to lie instead of think.
stop brainwashing your children and tell the truth. the american government is NOT representing the people. they take your (fake) money to control. wake up the sheep!
SpitfireDriver, The myth of the "figher" pilot no longer reflects reality as you stated. So why do you glorify the plains, and in the process the career, the pilot, and ultimately the killing? Or am I getting sites mixed up?
again, everyone is responsible for their own actions. soldiers need to think about this. the "fighter" pilot carries heroic status, but they are killers of innocent people. This is a deconstruction of that myth. Hopefully, that will keep a yong person form enlisting, another might refuse to return. It is a social comment on a reality. The powerful have no power without their human tools. Get it yet. I am not going to goose step to some sort of innane refusal to critic the soldier.
The Fighter Pilot carries a heroic status because of the past i.e during the Battle of Britain it is largely thanks to them that we are free in the UK today. They are not always killers of innocent people, in fact a 'fighter pilot' shouldn't actually engage targets on the ground - that's left to bombers and their aircrew. But I get your point, and it's a valid one. If it does stop anyone enlisting then good on you.
I still don't understand your aggression towards me though.
Sorry, just so sick and tired of hearing folks repeat propaganda, like "support our troups", "don't blaim the troups". It is an issue, I deal with philosophically (philos of peace and justice, ethics, soc. pol. philos...) and pragmatically as those (including the military these days) who are violently turned against our own domestic citizens non-violently protesting, claim, "I am just following orders", "just doing my job", "I am about to retire".
You want to talk propaganda? I would love to know how many of these images of dying kids were taken after some psycho islamic car bomber blew himself up. Funny that there are no images on here of the WTC (either attacks) or the pentagon.
First question, none. All came from U.S. attacks on these kids, before civil war. WTC attackers were more friendly to Bush family than Iraq under Saddam. Yes, I do wanna talk propaganda. Try some of my other vids.
Unless you can show me proof that you actually shot the videos yourself then there's no way you can prove who was to blame for those attacks. I'm sure your other video's are just littered with "truth" as you view it. When you wear your agenda on your sleeve you lose most, if not all, credability.
We waged an unjust, illegal war against another nation w/o provocation. We kill their children. What would you do? the so called smart bombs are not very smart, they bomb in neighborhoods, and they often knowingly and intentionally kill civilians. This is the "CENTRAL ANERICAN MODEL" Bush refered to, it is kill the families and "supporters" in the community if you can not get to the insurgents.
Personally, my country is involved in the same war, and is equally responsible for the atrocities you mention. What have we done? We have campaigned politically and put pressure on the government to the point that Defence Minister and PM are talking about pulling the troops out of Iraq. In other words, hopefully we've managed to bring about an end to our country's involvement in this insanity.
A couple of things you might want to think about - you are only able to have campaigns like this and to make statements like this because throughout history people have fought for your right to do so. Sure, not all wars are justified but it's not the soldiers, sailors and airmen who start them - question your politicians, not those they send into conflicts.
every person has to chose for themselves to kill. I am just doing my job is not good enough. Sorry. In my lifetime no U.S. soldier has faught for MY FREEDOM, but for others profits. I fight for my own freedom on the streets. So do not give me that line of B.S. propaganda.
For a start, I am entitled to my own opinion, as you are to yours - indeed you have some valid points - so I would appreciate it if my opinion wasn't labelled as 'B.S propaganda'. Next, even if people enlist - a choice they make for themselves - they do not make the decisions. The politicians do; the servicemen are just a tool. Targeting the servicemen is akin to blaming a gun for a robbery, insofar as it was the criminal who pointed it and pulled the trigger.
The military is there to deter any would-be aggressors: the fact that they are there (in theory) should be to protect your freedom. The servicemen in effect give up their 'choice' to the politicians on the trust that they will use them for the greater good. When they get sent to do things which are in fact not for the greater good, that trust has been abused. BTW for the record, I do not agree with the war in Iraq and most of the conflicts in the last 50 years or those who started them.
Bla bla bla, Your rationalizaitons cannot change the reality, that anyone who kills is morally responsible for that kill. No, your analogy is not good, the servicemen are pulling trigger. If they refuse; war is over. In a very real way it is their choice each and every day.
BTW the rush of the kill is real, I did not add the comment of the pilot, I just pulled up the sound track the military video.
That is a very valid point and the answer is yes, very much so - and in an ideal world it would be fine. However we don't live in an ideal world. In this world, there is always the threat that someone, somewhere, will attempt to take our freedoms from us. There are many ways in which they might try and do this, including subversive actions of large corporations, a police state or overt acts of force and invasion.
What are they going to do with our freedom? Fool the ones who wants your freedom are Bush and his Christian/Capistalist coalition. They want a Nazi country like the one their forfathers tried to build in Germany. If you think not; better check out Bush family history. If not for them and their friends Hitler never would have risen to power. They were the money behind the man, and they made money off the war, and even off slave labor from death camps.
Wat do they want with your freedom? It is Bush and friends that want your freedom? Who has been taking your rights? Wake up you better get up it's a set up.
History has shown us that the best defence against the latter is to maintain an effective military, and that the most effective military is built around the acceptance of orders and chain of command. It's a compromise necessitated by the world we live in, sadly. That doesn't make the killings of innocent people right at all, what it means is that the people responsible are those who are in charge and make the decisions.
Of course though, there are some situations such as being deliberately ordered to engage unarmed civilians in which it is their responsibility to refuse to carry out those orders. That is different however, to 'collateral damage' - which is simply another way of saying you didn't hit what you meant to, or the target wasn't what you thought it was - basically a fuck-up.
Yes they are, so are the ones pulling the trigger. Following orders does not get you off the hook, not morally, and not legally. I do think we need to investigate the use of brainwashing techniques against ou
following orders is no excuse for killing innocents, given the fact that the war is unjustified, all these folks are innocent, and thus all killing is then unjustified. It is frute of the poisonous tree.

Funny thing about your video of a 'crowd' being bombed... look closely, its a flock of sheep, one of the funnier goof ups that can happen in war. How can you say air bombing kills more innocent people? Where's the stats for that? Its not like air forces are bombing at random. 99% of bombing now is based on our guys getting shot at.
afrockstar83 4 years ago
Where do you get this stuff??? It is a fact that many more civilians than "insurgence" have died. The debate is how much of this killing is intentional. Well, what do you think Bush meant by "shock and awe"? The intent of this administration has been to terrorize. No way a rational person can avoid this conclusion.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
What do you think, "shock and awe" was all about? Inflicting terror is the answer. Now, what about retaliation leveling one of the only modern cities in Iraq, killing everything that moves; why did U.S. do such a thing? Insurgence you say, NO. They did it because it was a retaliation for Blackwater goons being treated as they were treating the Iraqi people. Of course, air boming kills more innocents, war kills more innocents than soldiers.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Also how is the opening image of a JSF even applicable? If you're showing wrong planes how can we believe pics of civilians hurt can be attributed to the US? Can you please learn how to spell the country Canada? Define genocide: Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, religious or national group. How is the US pursuing such an agenda? Its pretty obvious that if this was our goal there would be more destruction than there is right now.
afrockstar83 4 years ago
Good God how much killing and destruction do you need? Genocide is exactly what we are doing. Focusing on typos is for those who have no argument.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
You want to know the truth about the video, focus on the killing of the crowd, the voice of the pilot, the source of the footage. Do a little homework.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
The whole premise of the song is flawed. Every pilot and weapons officer in the armed forces is college educated. Unless the singer was a pilot or WSO they have no premise to judge what these pilots do or how they think. Musicians like these need to think before they make rash generalizations about an entire military or service. Air power kills a hell of a lot more bad guys than innocent people and these pilots keep the west a hell of a lot safer than your little song and propaganda video did.
afrockstar83 4 years ago
Hmmm. The voice in the film was the pilot. College educated is not always well educated. Does he sound educated?
Perhaps you should bother to do some research. Start w/my web site. News you can use is good. Don't stop keep reading...
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Ok, first you do not use the word "premise" correctly or consistently. Of course we have the right to judge what others do without doing it ourselves. Think about what you are saying. No air bombing kills more innocent people than "bad guys", and it is my gall to exercise my right to free speech that keeps me safe, not people willing to kill so blindly.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Why are you blaming the troops (non-mercenaries), they don't ask to go there. The President sends them with the backing of the Congress and Senate who are all put into power by the voters. The civillian leadership asks teses kids to go into difficult situations that the military was not designed to do.
DogRonin 4 years ago
Hmmm. "blaiming the troops", what would happen if the "troops" refused to fight?
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
there is a Vietnam-like troop movement happeing. keep'em coming home, i say.
NoahHoe 4 years ago
The Vietnam protests were very successful for the communists. North Vietnamese Colonel Bui Tin, who served under Gen. Giap on the general staff of the North Vietnamese army, received South Vietnam's unconditional surrender on April 30, 1975.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal after his retirement, Col. Tin explicitly credited leaders of the U.S. anti-war movement, saying they were "essential to our strategy."
cupera1 4 years ago
and now we trade with them, the president comes over here for visits and we vacation there now. much, much better than dragging out a war that was never meant to end becuase of its rules of engagement.
NoahHoe 4 years ago
and you can take tours of the killing fields were millions died because of their desire to be free.
cupera1 4 years ago
i hope you aren't implying that we entered that war to help the Vietnamese people.
the Gulf of Tonkin incident was staged by the CIA to enter us into the war. this is a known fact, declassified and released by the Freedom of information act. that war was for profit.
NoahHoe 4 years ago
The mass killing did not start until 1975
cupera1 4 years ago
Well when people enlist that take an oath to serve.Failure to carry out an order, report for duty, go absent without leave can earn you serious jail time. During war it is even a capitial offense. So what are the troops going to do? Fight and get called baby killers and worse by persons such as yourself or go to military prison, face possible execution if they did this during war time?
DogRonin 4 years ago
Ok, there is such a thing as war crimes. A war does not give a soldier the right to do as they please including rape and murder.
Furthermore, have you ever talked w/a "draft dodger" who when to Canida. When we finally said, ok you guys can come home they laughed at us. They are better off in Canida. If your country asks you to commit a crime; it is time to go to jail or leave.

I hope all you ANTI-AMERICANS making post here gets a hug goodbye from one of those terrorists bombers that you want to protect!
HiTekRedNek 5 years ago
The terrorist bombers are Americans. If you want to understand who the real terrorists are look up Blackwater.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Blackwater is a personal protection service. They gaurd dignitaries. Look into their website you potsmoker! You idiot to your research. The terrorists are Islamic Extremists that are on Jihad which means Holy War. In case you got a bone in your head thats a religous crusade i.e: The Catholic Crusade 12th century and so on.
Airsofterspartan44 4 years ago
The are death squads that should be outlawed on a global level. How many times has G.W. made religious references? Too many for a "secular" government. Wake up!!!
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Take a look at Blackwater again. Understand this--- Blackwater and domestic and foreign troops have been used by this administration against the American people. You seem to know nothing of N.O.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
"guarding digitaries" is one small thing they do, not the bulk of their opperations. They are a global mercinary army for hire that have been deployed in the Southern U.S. after Katrina. They were not there to rebuild, no more than they are in Iraq to rebuild.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Blackwater? A mercenary organization right?
SocialistMilitant 4 years ago
You got it, SM. Global, and huge. Over 600 where deployed in the South after Katrina. This is like, "Beyond School of Americas"; global tyrants, and death squads. For any of you who do not understand there is a new book. Google.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
good one.
everybody should read AND write. rewrite the history books which teach children to lie instead of think.
stop brainwashing your children and tell the truth. the american government is NOT representing the people. they take your (fake) money to control. wake up the sheep!

SpitfireDriver, The myth of the "figher" pilot no longer reflects reality as you stated. So why do you glorify the plains, and in the process the career, the pilot, and ultimately the killing? Or am I getting sites mixed up?
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
again, everyone is responsible for their own actions. soldiers need to think about this. the "fighter" pilot carries heroic status, but they are killers of innocent people. This is a deconstruction of that myth. Hopefully, that will keep a yong person form enlisting, another might refuse to return. It is a social comment on a reality. The powerful have no power without their human tools. Get it yet. I am not going to goose step to some sort of innane refusal to critic the soldier.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
The Fighter Pilot carries a heroic status because of the past i.e during the Battle of Britain it is largely thanks to them that we are free in the UK today. They are not always killers of innocent people, in fact a 'fighter pilot' shouldn't actually engage targets on the ground - that's left to bombers and their aircrew. But I get your point, and it's a valid one. If it does stop anyone enlisting then good on you.
I still don't understand your aggression towards me though.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
Sorry, just so sick and tired of hearing folks repeat propaganda, like "support our troups", "don't blaim the troups". It is an issue, I deal with philosophically (philos of peace and justice, ethics, soc. pol. philos...) and pragmatically as those (including the military these days) who are violently turned against our own domestic citizens non-violently protesting, claim, "I am just following orders", "just doing my job", "I am about to retire".
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
You want to talk propaganda? I would love to know how many of these images of dying kids were taken after some psycho islamic car bomber blew himself up. Funny that there are no images on here of the WTC (either attacks) or the pentagon.
TECarlton 4 years ago 2
First question, none. All came from U.S. attacks on these kids, before civil war. WTC attackers were more friendly to Bush family than Iraq under Saddam. Yes, I do wanna talk propaganda. Try some of my other vids.
smallrevolutions 4 years ago
Unless you can show me proof that you actually shot the videos yourself then there's no way you can prove who was to blame for those attacks. I'm sure your other video's are just littered with "truth" as you view it. When you wear your agenda on your sleeve you lose most, if not all, credability.
TECarlton 3 years ago 4
We waged an unjust, illegal war against another nation w/o provocation. We kill their children. What would you do? the so called smart bombs are not very smart, they bomb in neighborhoods, and they often knowingly and intentionally kill civilians. This is the "CENTRAL ANERICAN MODEL" Bush refered to, it is kill the families and "supporters" in the community if you can not get to the insurgents.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
What would I do? In what context?
Personally, my country is involved in the same war, and is equally responsible for the atrocities you mention. What have we done? We have campaigned politically and put pressure on the government to the point that Defence Minister and PM are talking about pulling the troops out of Iraq. In other words, hopefully we've managed to bring about an end to our country's involvement in this insanity.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
Good for you. Now we need to get even more Americans in the streets. WE have had mass numbers, but still not enough.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
Not only the free choice to kill or not, but the duty to refuse, is not negated by joining the military.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
A couple of things you might want to think about - you are only able to have campaigns like this and to make statements like this because throughout history people have fought for your right to do so. Sure, not all wars are justified but it's not the soldiers, sailors and airmen who start them - question your politicians, not those they send into conflicts.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
every person has to chose for themselves to kill. I am just doing my job is not good enough. Sorry. In my lifetime no U.S. soldier has faught for MY FREEDOM, but for others profits. I fight for my own freedom on the streets. So do not give me that line of B.S. propaganda.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
For a start, I am entitled to my own opinion, as you are to yours - indeed you have some valid points - so I would appreciate it if my opinion wasn't labelled as 'B.S propaganda'. Next, even if people enlist - a choice they make for themselves - they do not make the decisions. The politicians do; the servicemen are just a tool. Targeting the servicemen is akin to blaming a gun for a robbery, insofar as it was the criminal who pointed it and pulled the trigger.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
The military is there to deter any would-be aggressors: the fact that they are there (in theory) should be to protect your freedom. The servicemen in effect give up their 'choice' to the politicians on the trust that they will use them for the greater good. When they get sent to do things which are in fact not for the greater good, that trust has been abused. BTW for the record, I do not agree with the war in Iraq and most of the conflicts in the last 50 years or those who started them.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
Bla bla bla, Your rationalizaitons cannot change the reality, that anyone who kills is morally responsible for that kill. No, your analogy is not good, the servicemen are pulling trigger. If they refuse; war is over. In a very real way it is their choice each and every day.
BTW the rush of the kill is real, I did not add the comment of the pilot, I just pulled up the sound track the military video.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
Don't you think it is incumbent upon a humanbeing not to allow themselves to be used as mere tools to other's ends?
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
That is a very valid point and the answer is yes, very much so - and in an ideal world it would be fine. However we don't live in an ideal world. In this world, there is always the threat that someone, somewhere, will attempt to take our freedoms from us. There are many ways in which they might try and do this, including subversive actions of large corporations, a police state or overt acts of force and invasion.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
What are they going to do with our freedom? Fool the ones who wants your freedom are Bush and his Christian/Capistalist coalition. They want a Nazi country like the one their forfathers tried to build in Germany. If you think not; better check out Bush family history. If not for them and their friends Hitler never would have risen to power. They were the money behind the man, and they made money off the war, and even off slave labor from death camps.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
Wat do they want with your freedom? It is Bush and friends that want your freedom? Who has been taking your rights? Wake up you better get up it's a set up.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
History has shown us that the best defence against the latter is to maintain an effective military, and that the most effective military is built around the acceptance of orders and chain of command. It's a compromise necessitated by the world we live in, sadly. That doesn't make the killings of innocent people right at all, what it means is that the people responsible are those who are in charge and make the decisions.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
Of course though, there are some situations such as being deliberately ordered to engage unarmed civilians in which it is their responsibility to refuse to carry out those orders. That is different however, to 'collateral damage' - which is simply another way of saying you didn't hit what you meant to, or the target wasn't what you thought it was - basically a fuck-up.
SpitfireDriver 5 years ago
Yes they are, so are the ones pulling the trigger. Following orders does not get you off the hook, not morally, and not legally. I do think we need to investigate the use of brainwashing techniques against ou
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
following orders is no excuse for killing innocents, given the fact that the war is unjustified, all these folks are innocent, and thus all killing is then unjustified. It is frute of the poisonous tree.
smallrevolutions 5 years ago
spitfire is clearly brainwashed. you will get nowhere debating that regurgitation!
but your points are very valid. go back to the first comment... before the wars started, what was there? wasNt it peace?
gr8 vid btw. i will vLog it or feature.
