and our D is probably the best in the league so the flyers have them there. you have the better goalie, but i think we are the better team. it should be fun to see who gets the most points this year.
Flyers have much more balanced scoring than canucks. The flyers dont even have one guy who is point per game right now, but it doesn't matter for them because they are leading the league in goals. Canucks have kes, and sedins. Flyers have a great defense, argubaly the best in the league. Which is awesome if u ask me. but canucks are top 3 in my view as well.
One side where i think flyers will fall ( if they do ) would be weak goaltending.

@dylan1487 It all depends on what the arbitrator deceides saturday. Even if the arbitrator says 4 million, that doesn't mean he will actually get 4 from another team. And I doubt they wiil just walk, they have the option of trading him. Remember that not that many teams are looking to spend that much, on a guy who might not even start. If he does become an URFA, he still has to sell himself to another team, for at least what the Hawks are offering. Like I said 99% sure he will stay.

Another example was in 2009 when the Canucks were up 2-1 against the Chicago Black Hawks, and Willie Mitchell said Patrick Kane could only score on the powerplay and not even strength, kane ended up dominated the series and scoring a hat trick to win the series for the Hawks , see the trend here.... anyways in order for The Canucks to make a deep run for the cup theyre going to have to maintain their composure and not get to far ahead of themselves.

As a canucks fan I finally feel as those we have the most complete team in years to make a run, what pisses off me though is when the canucks take command in a series we get to cocky and ahead of ourselves and end up losing.Ex in 2003 when we were up 3-1 against the Minnesota Wild, Todd Bertuzzi told the Minnesota fans not to but tickets for game 6 in Minny cause Bert thought they were gonna win in game 5, but we ended up losing the series.

but the flyers have 8 players with at least 11 goals and 6 players with at least 15 goals.
the canucks have 5 players with at least 11 goals but only 2 players with at least 15 goals.
and our D is probably the best in the league so the flyers have them there. you have the better goalie, but i think we are the better team. it should be fun to see who gets the most points this year.

ill try to be as unbias as i can here.
Flyers have much more balanced scoring than canucks. The flyers dont even have one guy who is point per game right now, but it doesn't matter for them because they are leading the league in goals. Canucks have kes, and sedins. Flyers have a great defense, argubaly the best in the league. Which is awesome if u ask me. but canucks are top 3 in my view as well.
One side where i think flyers will fall ( if they do ) would be weak goaltending.

I mean if he was really good, the Sharks would have resigned him. Where did you hear about the Hawks signing Turco? It wasn't on the Hawks or ESPNs websites. The case went to arbitration yesterday, the ruling is sometime Saturday.

And San Jose was going to resign him fro about the same amount of money but they didnt get around to it because of there cap problems. And Twitter. But its not for sure yet. Hopefully for you guys they will work out, I mean you have over 9 million bucks invested in these 2. And the Sharks did put out an offer for Hawk Nick Hjalmarsson, but the Hawks matched it. Which makes me think they did have cap space available.

And stats doesnt necassarly mean they arent good. Most defencemen arent there to put up goals. And im not so sure because Niemi can possibly make 3+million. Turco would be getting half of that. Dude, I know all you Canuck fans would love to see Niemi off the Hawks. I'm 99% sure he will be a Hawk after all is said and done. Besides it's mostly Turco's agent who is trying to sell Turco to the Hawks.

@dylan1487 It all depends on what the arbitrator deceides saturday. Even if the arbitrator says 4 million, that doesn't mean he will actually get 4 from another team. And I doubt they wiil just walk, they have the option of trading him. Remember that not that many teams are looking to spend that much, on a guy who might not even start. If he does become an URFA, he still has to sell himself to another team, for at least what the Hawks are offering. Like I said 99% sure he will stay.

@dylan1487 I think Phoenix had to sign a long term deal with the stadium owners, I doubt they will move. The Thrashers may move to Winnipeg sometime in the near future though. Atlanta is not a hockey town, thats why the Flames left there, and moved to Calgary around 30 years ago.
