Shannen and Holly's acting is terrible in this one. I really love their acting in the unaired pilot. The vocal delivery and emotions they put are more believable. I feel they dont try as hard in episode because theyve done it already. :/

I just watched this unaired pilot and it was set in a real house. They really did a great job on recreating the set it originally took place in. I'm also really glad that Alyssa Milano took over the job as Phoebe.

Comparing season 1 Piper to season 8 Piper, they are like two totally different people. But they are both awesome!

Did you know that Charmed's original plot was about three FRIENDS (not sisters) who had fallen out of contact with each other, after high school, but reunited in college, then discovering their powers and each other as being witches? True statement. Although I'm glad they didn't go with that storyline. =)

I like the newer episodes better, but only because I absolutely love Chris and the plots he was involved with (and his gorgeous self... just saying. Drew Fuller is SEXY). They should have brought him on when Prue was still around... Paige is good and all... but things were never quite the same after Prue died.

i've always enjoyed the first season of charmed, because it was always the most realistic season. after the first season the plots started to get ridiculous by adding faries, leprechauns and other fictional creatures. not to mention the digital effects were terrible, especially toward the end of the series.

i prefer prue over paige. she was the better character development wise. paige stayed pretty static, but prue...she let her guard down through her three seasons while staying her strong willed self. paige's personality just didn't fit. i prefer piper overall. her character changed from the sweet innocent girl we see in these eps to the sarcatic doting mother in the later seasons.

@jbhutch6707 Paige was a great actress in season 4 -6 then the last 2 seasons were't that great. Though Rose was phenominal in the first and second ep she aired in. The others weren't as great. Felt forced....although I loved her character, so quiryky and cute she fit well with pheobe...but not the best actress. she always seemed forced on the screen i like her, but even in jawbreaker it just never felt natural.

actually the writers of Charmed made it so the sister won every battle in every episode. that doesn't possess the many challenges that Buffy is put through. what made Buffy exciting was that a lot of episodes kept you on edge because of the unstoppable foes Buffy came across. so in other words, Buffy was unpredictable. Charmed was good, but it wasn''t unpredictable because you just knew the sisters were going to win every match which also made the show idealistic.

I do like Charmed, but I prefer only season 1 because it was more realistic and darker than seasons 2-8 which had too many cliches for me and plus someone on here tried to put Charmed above Buffy and I felt it was my duty to give a good argument because I like both shows, but I also know which had a bigger fan base as well.

Charmed rarely used "to be continued" but should they? The only episode I remember using it was 8x21 Kill Billie Vol.2 when the sisters loose the final battle, only Piper survives.
