  • tha last real nigga alive thats official wtf happened to queens yall need to stand the fuck up rap has turned into some techno autotuned bullshit with fags in zebra pants

  • TDK please bring back your High Bias tapes! Considering Maxell, Sony and Basf(Emtec) have dropped out of the race you'd have a huge chunk of market among musicians and indie record labels just for yourself!

Tapes are the last "organic" way to record music!

  • I love classic rock but what he said is awesome

  • Real history lesson from one of hip hop's teachers...the cassette started it all...

  • 0:50 hahaha DAMN!

  • This was a I'll excerpt.. Real talk from a real brother. Nas

  • Nas speaking the truth about tapes lol.

  • I was in the cd to cassette mix era.. same sort of thang but an easier process.

Also shout out if you were to broke to buy the cd and bought the cassette instead !

  • Taping off the Radio rules.

BTW TDK Bring back the SA-90 high bias tapes!

  • I learned to love Cassettes after learning to record with them.

  • I really did this shit. bruh I used to make instrumentals using dual tape decks. much appreciation for the realis to bring those memories back.

  • Damn that shit was dope! This video just made my day.

  • Forgot to mention tin-foil on the antenna and if the tape gets eaten up fixin it with a pencil and scotch tape

  • This was pretty dope! Props to Nas, seen him quite a few times here in NYC.

  • I had the same experience with tapes... lol!! Brings back memories!!

I have two boxes of tapes that have both In Control Show & Red Alert's show... you'll hear a song, then all of a sudden it'll cut to something else. I still gotta find a way to get those onto YouTube for ya'll enjoyment :-)

  • I saw this when it was on Rolling Stone site, so dope. So hyped. Nas is a legend.

  • Everything Nas said was right on point.!! from the Tapes(LOL) to the concerts!!

    Queens, NY

  • Pick apart...study the whole art - YES!! Whoever interviewed Nas was versed in the Hip-Hop Subculture...you can't bring out those types of memories if you are not. You have to have a rapport with the interviewee and be able to ask questions that pull out their experiences fully and richly...word UP^^ to the TDK folk :D Mx

  • @MsMerising -Agreed, cause Nas does not just open up. This was great; it took me back to my youth experiences of staying up all night for that new...

  • i used to do the same thing!

  • That's the essence!Supreme One bliss our Nation!One!

  • I love stuff like this. It's fascinating.
