  • He achieved Chim

  • wat

  • u wot m8??

  • What are you doing? IM A GOD! *Dies in 3 stabs* LOL

  • can you kill dagoth ur without doing the main quest???????

  • OMG LOL 7:27 LOL WHAT KIND OF A GIFT IS THAT?

  • I love how half of that time is him waiting for the exterior areas to load.

  • @barborashop after you put 50 hours in its way better than skyrim or oblivion

  • @barborashop You are forgetting that when Morrowind first came out, it was what Skyrim is today. Morrowind was Game of the Year for a reason. That was when GOTY still meant something.

  • this game looks good. i played oblivion and skyrim, but not this. should i bother?

  • @SirGarjelBlah should you bother? i think morrowind was better that oblivion by a long way and i think it's still better than skyrim

  • @Wagwoof im sure its great, what i ment was that there didnt seem to be much point in getting a game that can be completed so quickly. but if it is so special then i shall consider it...

  • @SirGarjelBlah Yes! I started playing this after I bought and enjoyed Oblivion, and I still find it better than Skyrim.

  • *After finishing sequence*

"Woo! Main quest in 4:19! Now let's finish it 100%"

    *10 min later*

    "Now that was fun!"

  • LOL...I can't even imagine how it looks from the view of NPC...insane!

  • I Really dont understand this game !

  • @BetaHouse58 well its not meant to be completed in 4 minutes lol. but its about like the imperials/empire messing with the dreams of everyone and yeah i dont remember lol

  • Shouldn't be able to play old versions of the game after they have been patched for speed runs (Morrowind 1.0). They fixed the bug he uses to gain his stats. The 7 minute one is still better IMO :)

  • did he have to run sideways , that was really annoying

  • Why did you pick the black guy? lol =)

  • @HunterDT He kills guys faster and therefore gets the game done quicker.

  • better than dragonborn

  • why give fargoth is ring?

  • @kaktuzz

because fargoth is a friend of the Store guy and if you give fargoth the ring you can buy things cheaper and sell more expensive

  • @kaktuzz (u can get it back, when you speak to the guy in the store upstairs

  • Just bought this game,uggh... impulse buy :D

I'll play it tommorow, lets see how good it is lol.

  • "Nerevarine? WTF is that?"

  • :( i miss a good menu system.

  • 6 minutes to see the Tamriel rendered in Skyrim.

    4 minutes to complete Morrowind.

    ._.

  • @Dukstless only 3 minutes to finish masturbating. One minute to spare

  • skooma is one hell of a drug

  • After 7 minutes I was still inside Sellus Gravius' house, wondering if I could kill him and take his armor. At about 3 hours of gameplay, I killed Caius Cosades and hadn't saved. :c

  • Take this thing from the hand of God.

    SWISHSWISHWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISH

  • wtf is he running diagonally?!?!?

  • All the quick select menu parts were cut out and then that scroll flight from balmora to red mountain, tested it and noticed that you could fly just bit north east of caldera. Where this guy landed is twice as far and I don't see what he did to achieve that.

  • @DonnZ0r He stacked constant effects using the sunder/keening cheat giving him enough speed at take off to effectively double his jumping distance.

  • @MrDeemsMusic ... So he stacked constant effects before he even got to the red fucking mountain. Right.

  • @DonnZ0r I misspoke. I'm super tired right now. What I meant was that he stacked fortify effects to increase his overall speed which you can use to essentially fling yourself further. If I remember correctly, in version 1.0 your speed at the point you jump effects the jump distance of scroll used to do the long jump. I don't know why I mentioned the sunder/keening cheat. I realize thats for something totally different.

  • @MrDeemsMusic He didn't have anything to do that kind of stacking when he was in balmora and did that jump.

  • @DonnZ0r right before he exits the alchemists house in balamora he pops the inv open really quick and takes what I am assuming is a fortify speed potion right before the balamora jump. But it kind of looks like the video was cut there. Happens right at 3:00 . Frankly the more I watch this video the more I'm confused by it. I feel like something is amiss.

  • @MrDeemsMusic He didn't at any point buy a potion like that. He bought one scroll of opening and one scroll of intervention at Seyda Neen. At the alchemist he bought 2 potions of mark and recall and standard rising force potion.

I even tested the jump with and without the adrenaline power that he used in the beginning to get through the wall.

  • @DonnZ0r I was just making the assumption. With the low quality of the video I couldn't really see what he was buying. Did you test the jump in version 1.0? Maybe there is some unique exploit in that version? I just find it hard to believe that speeddemoarchive would miss something like this if he faked the video.

  • @MrDeemsMusic Yes, version 1.0 repeating every single step he took until that point when he made that unbelievable jump.

  • @DonnZ0r You should contact speeddemoarchive and notify them of this issue. Either they can explain what exactly he did (since he has to provided a detailed step by step explanation upon submission) or they will flag the video as being fraudulent. I'm going to pop on over to the wiki and see if there are any old exploits I don't know about.

  • @DonnZ0r Actually I meant right AFTER he exits the alchemists house. It happens SUPER fast.

  • @MrDeemsMusic And again, how could he use something that he didn't have.

  • @ShadowDeathLightning

obviously, but it wasnt funny... you should change your name to something like BloodNinjaDeathAssassin61236, that might help

  • @gloury You're retarded. It's a joke, dumbass.

  • Oh yeah, well I'd like to see this guy take on some Mudcrabs. Yeah!! Try that!!

  • @ShadowDeathLighnting shutup cunt

  • I understand so little of what's going on that it makes more sense to watch the minimap in the bottom right.

  • Lady:Come take This thing from the hand of god...

You: *hand spasm* SHI...SHIT! HERE TAKE IT BACK!

  • During that opening scene the in game music continues to play...

Anyone know how to fix that bug?

  • Well... I nearly killed a couple mudcrabs after playing for a little over 3 hours...

  • Loading exterior.

  • as a wise blue hegehog once said... gotta go fast

  • Wat the fuck?

  • i was about to throw my computer cuz 'he' was laggy

  • The 8 or so throat/head jabs made me laugh

  • Also this is stupider than the Diablo 2 speed runs, where a group of 99ers take a fresh char to Baal runs on hell mode.

Neither of these are legit methods, as under normal circumstances they are not possible.

  • This is not a speedrun. It's bug exploiting.

The player gets away with stealing, clips through walls, takes no damage from any source, maintains the daily 1 use racial speed buff indefinetly, and a couple hundred coins worth of potions and scrolls don't seem to run out for some reason.

Now take into account that the character he plays would not yet have any ide of where his ultimate goal lies, nor how to achieve it, or that the game has many other goals than killing the main bad guy.

  • @Grimmgore

99.9% of speedruns have some form of bug/exploiting (mainly first person games).

    What's your problem m8?

  • @shinuftw Point out the bug/exploit then.....m8

And what's it got to do with first person games?

  • @Grimmgore have you played this game? do you understand the mechanics of it? nothing he does in this speed run is without doing by ANYONE in the vanilla game. he doesn't maintain the speed buff indefinitely (watch closer), he does steal but that's within the game's parameters, i never saw him clip through walls, and he didn't use any more scrolls or potions than he bought.

he just played cleverly. you buy some levitation potions, use icarian flight to get exactly where you need to, and voila.

  • @threefingeredben He clipped through a wall in Seyda Neen, right after he got Fargoth's ring.

  • @lostship47 Ah yeah. That saved his overall time by about 3 seconds anyway, so, again, something I don't fault, and also the only true exploit used. Not that using exploits matters in a speed run.

  • This is very impressive, human capability could be unbelievable sometimes

  • @WayofLiving1 ...What? How is this impressive? I want to see the fastest play time legit. This is just.. one of those dumb things people do and are impressed by. How is this even amazing if he used any kind of cheat? What the hell lol.

  • @ErraticSea He never cheated. He abused the game but he never opened the console and typed in a cheat.

  • @CloverFuchs So he didn't use any kind of hacks either? This was all stuff that was in the game that could be exploited?

  • @ErraticSea Exactly. Most of the video was just two glitches, one let you duplicate passive stats on items by cycling through your weapons too fast, the other I don't know the specifics of but it involves bugging out a levitation scroll so it continues to work forever (combined with the near infinite speed he had from duplicating the effects an item with plus acrobatics).

  • @CloverFuchs he was switching weapons fast because of the constant effect speed enhancement, however holding keening without wraithguard will kill you in a couple seconds so he needs to switch fast to avoid the health drain ticks, and that elf drops 3 scrolls of icarus flight, unique ones that fortify acrobatics by 1000 - more of a novelty item but great for speedruns :)

  • @ErraticSea I don't think you understand what a speedrun is.

  • @jeremysmitherman I... don't care. :/ There's nothing cool about it to me, but I wasn't hating for the purpose of hating. But yeah, I'm just really not interested in this stuff. All I do is game as well. lol.

  • @ErraticSea Speedruns are just a different way to play the game; it's more competitive; people who have already finished the main game want to challenge themselves to do it as fast possible.

  • I couldn't even finish my supper while this guy played through morrowind

  • 5:54 Oh snap.

  • -If you google his name ... only he and the speedrun comes up.

-the video is released in 2010, and the game is from 2002 ... NICE! It is 2011 right now.

  • so, anyone else NOT fly around like a magical warlock when they play this game?

  • @dudewheresrayscar Uh, yeah. I jump.

  • A Black Barbarian....I guess Stereotypes do work well in games...

  • What happen?

  • @ElderScrollsHistory You have to be kidding yourself if you say you've never noticed a problem, Elder Scrolls games and Bethsoft games in general are notorious for being buggy. If you want to see how many bugs there are type ''UESP Oblivion bugs'' into google and click on the first result. The other things I listed are objective facts, the levelling system is stupid and goes against the basics of an RPG. I cannot understand why you would be against mods when they're such a posititive thing.

  • @ElderScrollsHistory No problems? What about the hundreds of bugs that remained unfixed even after Bethesda's final patch? The fact that all enemies level up at the exact same rate as you so that there is never a challenge or a sense of being powerful? The limited variety of enemies and weapons and spells. There are mods out there that fix all bugs, that make the game more challenging, that add huge questlines better than any of the official DLCs, and you're saying that's bad. Shame.

  • The unofficial bugfix patches are highly recommended, as the official updates fix only some of them. Some mods are buggy, outdated and make the game far too easy, so it's a good idea to read some comments before installing them. In any case, mods are definately worth checking out.

As for this speedrun, the guy takes Steed birthsign (fortify speed). Even so, he seems very fast! I don't know if he also exploits some bugs to get more speed.

  • Oh m Loading Comment an, that jus Loading Comment t bl Loading Comment ew m Loading Comment y min Loading Comment d.
  • @ElderScrollsHistory You realise that mods make the game so much better and fix the horendous flaws in all elder scrolls games. Oh wait, you're probably playing on a console so you wouldn't know. And yes, the games are designed to be moddable, so that WAS todd howard's idea.

  • You've stolen for the last time! Go through to the next building and talk to Sellus Cravius.

  • 1:16

    SKYRIM LOGO!!!!!!!!

  • scoter voice : what just happened !?

  • What the hell was that lol.... Crazy lol.

  • this is how you game like a boss

  • LOADING EXTERIOR

  • @Denamic

Considering the video is 7:36 and the time is posted as 4:19, it would make sense that loading times were not taken into account, anyway.

  • An SSD would shave precious seconds off the loading.

  • A one letter name would have actually made a difference in this speedrun, lol

  • if you used a glitch to do your speedrun then it doesn't count. it's the same as if you cheated typing godmode cheats in console. keep that in mind next time you decide to shit on your own speedrun.

  • @Tulipstarful speeddemosarchive/lang/faq_en.html

"Why do you allow glitches but disallow cheat codes and tricks like crooked cartridge?

Using glitches is...trying to use whatever is within the rules of the game to your advantage...As for cheat codes and debug codes, they differ from glitches in being intentionally programmed, so they are...outside the rules of the game..."

Next time, try reading first. If you had done so, you'd see that glitches are allowed.

  • @Tulipstarful a glitch is something imbued in the game from the beginning, this makes it part of the game. A cheat is more like a mod or something that alters the code of the game. Glitches are legit.

  • I hate how you can't break prophecy in Oblivion as you could in Morrowind. Made you have to restrain yourself.

  • @GeekingForJesus Yeah, you had pretty much absolute freedom in Morrowind. That was pretty cool.

  • @scottfrenz And I was also disappointed I couldn't steal the lamps. Lol.

  • so doing a fast speed run using a game bug...is somehow not cheating? what kind of backward nerd logic is that you fools...

  • this isnt a speed run, he didnt finish the entire main quest

  • @pigeonpsycho Nah he did, he defeated Dagoth Ur so it is a speedrun. Would you rather have had him complete every single mission? I think that's called an "LP"

  • @pigeonpsycho yeah thats actually a lets play thing , or a walktrough for pussies this man did GET THE CUTSCENE SO HE DID THE MAIN QUEST HA !

  • lol how do you get 4:19? The video is longer than that...

  • @UndeadReviews the actual gameplay time is whats being counted. cut scenes and stuff like that dont count towards the time.

  • Dagoth was dead, but still wouldn't shut up

  • He became black so he could go faster

  • @hihi1043 one of the best comments ever. you sir are awesome

  • This isn't done in 4:19 -.- More like 6:00

  • @LlameStarcraft they probably dont count loading.

  • @LlameStarcraft

    read the descrption

  • @LlameStarcraft you must be very stupid at SIMPLE retard simple MATH .... he didnt take into account the CUTSCENE you MORON ! the cutscene is LONGGG and maybe neither the LOADING SCREENNNNN !

  • @Cobac You can't even spell .. who is the retard? :D And cut-scenes and loading screens SHOULD count then.

  • @Cobac Or wait, you mean the ending cut scene? I didn't add that into the time either.

  • not sure if Morrowing Speedrun or LSD Trip

  • I've played this game, and I was even able to understand to a point what was going on in the 7:30 speedrun of this game. But this run? Holy damn, he was doing some of it so fast that I couldn't follow it all.

  • Bringing back good memories...

  • impressive.

  • I don't even..

  • i love speed run videos

  • i wish i knew what was happening

  • Redguards, perfect for speedruns

  • great game.

  • You fucked part of my childhood right up the arse

  • @MrElgigante Yeah, no kidding. I never even beat this damn game and still can't. This guy beats my childhood in 4:19....what a pro.

  • Wait...this game had a storyline???

  • The video is longer that 4:19. When did you start recording? Or slow down or sped up or something?

  • @BlackIce131

I think this video does not include character creation time, simply because it's an unavoidable time sink that any speedrun has to have in it. So he deducts any loading screens, and the character creation area. I might be wrong, but they adjust the time based on actual game play time and not total video length.

Such as the ending when she speaks to the player, it is not counted because it is a form of cut scene.

  • @BlackIce131 Could be not counting loading times, intro, character creation and stuff

  • "loading exterior"

  • lol:SSSS Is he cheating when fall down don t lose health...

  • @frost279367 No, it's a glitch. If you cast a spell while falling at a certain time near the end of your fall, you take no damage.

  • @shadowspike99 Actually, he's just using another Scroll of Incardian Flight. You can't take fall damage from a 1,000 acrobatics jump if you have 1,000 acrobatics.

  • @Zarquon42 Nope. Scroll of Icarian flight boosts your Acrobatics for a few seconds. And the jump lasts way more than that. I've heard people talk about the glitch times before.

  • @shadowspike99 ORLY? Why don't you watch the video again? The jump certainly lasts more than the seven seconds that the scroll remains in effect, but he casts ANOTHER one right before he lands.

  • @shadowspike99 At exactly 3:07 you can see him equip the second scroll.

  • @Zarquon42 Oh. I didn't notice you said another scroll. Still, that glitch works, I've seen it in another morrowind speedrun where he cast Beserk before he hit the ground.

  • Good god, when I saw the description for this vid I thought "no, not possible", I stand corrected. THat was simply incredible.

  • @gurutheassasin black people jump high too :P

  • how did you do that giant fucking jump?

  • @yoshimonkey112 With the scroll of the icarian flight 2:40

  • i have no clue what the fuck just happenned for the last 7 minutes...

  • @Puyo499 Loading Exterior Happened...

  • @Puyo499 I would say noclip.. but I don't know either lol

  • @Smileypwns you'll learn that when you go so fast, you can go through objects and walls through "tough spots", or corners. combine it with levitation, and it makes for some good cave skipping :D

  • @Smileypwns no its actually .... levitation ..... fantasy game so you know ....

  • I'm a god-WHAT ARE YOU DOING UGH

  • Also...After you beat the game can you keep playing?

  • @xObediencex yes you can continue playing

  • But you can't do this on normal Xbox, right?

  • @xObediencex Not on the GotY edition, because the CE glitch is patched on that version, but I don't see why it wouldn't be possible on the vanilla version.

  • You should have warned that it would spoil some things - earlier i fucked around too much to finish the main quest

  • DID YOU PICK THE REDGUARD JUST BECAUSE HES BLACK AND BLACK PEOPLE RUN FASTER MOTHERFUCKER?
