Yeah! I was there! Me and my mates were desperate for him to play this song, were practically jumpin with joy when he did! managed to catch up with him after and told him how pleased we were that he played it...signed my LP too!

Heh, I was the person who requested him to play this! I expect he would have done anyway, but it was nice to be there and hear it regardless :) I'm right on the front row, will have to link to some pics of it sometime.

Everytime I saw a Billy Bragg performance and the mentioning of Kirsty MacColl always broughts tears to my eyes ... a truly great song and a fantastic performance by Mr. Bragg indeed!
