  • I love your work thank u so much for all your videos on how to crochet.

  • You are such a inspiration. You totally give me hope and yes..crocheting is full "FULL" of "A-ha!!" moments. Thank you Teresa. I got a Droid phone just so I could You-tube your videos when I am away from my computer. I get confused but you always help me get back on track. again. thank you, if you were in a classroom I'd give you a apple. :) BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD !! :)

  • @mlm1025 Thank you for the generous words! Keep practicing and you will be very successful!

  • I am speechless...You have such a great talent.. =) I learned sooooo many techniques by you that my mother has me doing lots of cute crafts for her. She loves them and she shows them off to her friends at work.. Thanks to you!!

  • @isa4evr You will find a hat playlist on my main channel, thank you.

  • I would LOVE to crochet a "smiley face" into one of my beanies/hats? How do I do that, Teresa? Your instructions are so easy to follow. I've had requests from family members and friends to crochet them a Peruvian beanie, Beret, and other styles of hats for them because they loved the results of my crocheting. I owe it to you. =))

  • wow.. jaw dropping..

  • @RastafarianMovement Thank you!

  • You are wonderful and talented. I hope you know what a big help you are!

  • How do you get the right size?

  • I am so thankful for your gift of teaching! I have taught myself with your teachings from knowing nothing at ALL. At first I was so confused with another lady and then fell upon your videos and now it is Fantastic! Thank you for you generosity of your time and teaching. They are very much appreciated!!

    ~tjw1963's biggest fan!

  • Hey. Can you please make two tutorials on the designs of hats? The first hat is the one with the smiley faces. And the second one is the one that is red and white and stars on it. please. and thankyou. YOU ROCK!!

  • Girl-- YOU absolutely rock! I've learned so much watching your video's...I think I am addicted! I just can't get enough. & it is so very nice of you to take the time to do them, I just had to let you know how very valuable your time is to me. Thank you SO much, & I can't help but wonder who taught you to crochet??

  • I appreciate the comment, thank you. My mom helped me with the very basic stitches. I taught myself everything else through trial and error and reading crochet magazines.

  • @tjw1963 you are very talented u should make your own buisness! ;)

  • Thank you. I tried selling hats a few years ago and did not do very well.

  • @tjw1963 oh well i would deffinitly like buy 10 hats lol! i have made 4 hats thnx to your videos!

  • @tjw1963 Have you heard of "ETSY"? You can have your own "Etsy" store and sell your items online. I'm sure you probably know of it by now. If not then please check it out. It's free! Only we (fellow crafters) know the hard work and time it takes to create our items, as well as material costs . NEVER try to sell (for a profit) at flea markets! They want everything for nothing! Craft shows and Etsy are the best way to go if you wanna make a profit. If you like, you can sell just the patterns! GL!

  • @LadySakurra I had many of the hats on Etsy when I made this video. I think I sold two.

  • Lol I think everyone loves your hats, including me. If you have time can you make the white hat on the lower left corner surrounded by the three dark hats? It is sooo pretty and I would like to make one for my daughter. Only if you have time. Thanks Teresa, love your videos and work

  • The actual hat is posted. I can show the flower and edging I used.

  • Ok sounds good. Thanks!

  • Can you show me how to make the yellow hat with the pink flower?

  • i like the striped one with blue stars

  • Hey Teresa, I love all of your creations. I'm currently using RedHeart yarn and I was wondering how do you make it softer?

Thanks for making all of these teaching videos! Love ya!

  • Once you have finished your project it will soften right up with fabric softener. When I was finished with an afghan, I would throw it in the dryer with 2-3 dryer sheets. It would make it very soft without washing in the machine.

  • @tjw1963 omg thats sooo cool it wont unlace will it? as long as you have secured it right, right?

  • Hi Teresa, do you give tutorials abroad? That could be so good!!! please!!

  • I have people watching my crochet video tutorials all around the world if that is what you mean. You can click on my main channel page to search crochet video's.

  • Teresa, I know you have two tutorial variations of a beret. But can you do another variation, possibly with a brim? Also, do you have a tutorial for a wide brim (church) hat? I love your videos and I find them easier to watch than to read a pattern.

  • Teresa, I love all your hats. Do you know how to make a flower pin? I don't want to sew the flower onto the hat. I want to make it detachable so I can use different flowers.

  • Thank you. I just posted a tutorial on a removable flower.

  • one word . . . . . . . WOW! they are so beautiful. i hope i can get that good one day!

  • Thank you. I give them away on my crochet blog through a drawing. I am getting ready to do another one here soon.

  • They are so pretty. Did you get to wear all of them yet?

  • Thank you. I have not worn any of them. I had tried to sell them but none sold. Now I give them away on my crochet blog.

  • could you show how to make the light pink hat with the big flower in the middle. That would be so cute.

  • Are you talking about the one with the pastel trim on the flowers?

  • Thanks again. I aspire to make hats as great as these. In the mean time, I'll keep trying.

    God bless.

    mary

  • Thank you. :)

  • Teresa, would you happen to have a video for a poncho? My daughter would like me to make her one, but I have no idea on how to start it...

This is for a lil boy with cancer and he wants to collect the worlds record amount of hats.

He says that if/when something happens to him he is going to donate all his hats to other children with cancer.

They are so greatful for any lil thing! And your hats are so beautiful!

    Thank You!

    Helives! aka FROG

  • I could not find it.

  • Its there its just not on the front page. Its an older vid so you have to scroll back to it.

Thanks for taking a look tho.

  • are you signed up on Etsy yet? Post your store Id if you are! I'd love to check it out! I am on there too..but I am in the beginnig stages of hat making..and you totally helped me watching a couple of your videos I finally was able to catch on to where I was screwing up on Round 3! so thanks so much!

  • If you click the "more" link, on the right side of this video, you will see the link to my ETSY store.

  • you ar very good

plese post on how to make a star

  • Your work is very amazing. You should sell it and make a good business. I bet people would pay good money for that wacky hat... it was sooo cute!

  • will you PLEASE make a video on how to make a star? PLEASE!!!

  • love your work. those hats are gorgeous. :D

  • Thank you. :)

  • luv ur hats! how much time and effort do you put into them? anyways, AWSOME!

  • It might take an hour to make the basic hat, just depending on how motivated I am. The embellishments will be an additional couple hours. Crochet is something you love to do because you would starve if you had to depend on it for an income. Selling crochet is hit and miss.

  • holly cow

  • love the shamrock hat...awesome

  • I love them. You're so talented

  • Thank you. :)

  • Oh my goodness your hats are so beautiful!

  • Thank you. I have a lot of fun making them. I think I made them to funky so that is why they didn't sell on E-bay. Either that or it is the recession our country is in and no one has any money. Oh well.

  • Try Etsy! The people who buy there have more of an eye for hand made items than those on Ebay. I have a shop there called Timeless, and I love it. Give it a try!

  • Thank you, I am going to give it a try.

  • Be sure to let us know your shop name there so we can check it out!
