  • The question remains; why was it left to a heretic to compile the first NT collection as late as 140 AD, particularly since it was so depleted and disputed by common consensus? After all if there was a fuller, less controversial collection which met with general church approval why was it not assembled by 140 AD? Whilst few dispute that there was proto-NT scripture in existence in the first century, it is hard to tell how extensive it was and hence how much was added in the 2nd century or later!

  • It is amazing!! Matthew did not "rely" on Mark. Matthew literally copied word for word. If that does not strike one as good old fashioned plagiarism, then I just have nothing to say. Nothing.

  • bullshit.

  • @Cjm519 Glad you took the time to write such a thoughtful and reasoned response.

  • Fantastic! 5 stars!

  • This is great, but where can I obtain documentation for the facts you cite here ? Also, could you do a presentation on the difference between the protestant Bible (e.g., KJV) and the Catholic Bible (latin vulgate) - why there is a different canon between the two. Thank you - you're incredible !!

  • Catholic OT as well as the Eastern Orthodox is the Septuagint. At the time of Christ there were at least 4 Jewishs canons being used by differnt Jews. The apostles, then later there sucessiors all quotes from the Septuagint (the greek OT). Jews in spite of the Christians made a Hebrew only canon leaving 10 books out of the septuagint.

Protestants seemed to fall into confusion over Jerome's and the Jews opinion's over the apostles Septuagint tradition.

  • what they want is to never be held accountable due to freedom of choice.......to believe there Is NO evil and No good......or that they, can be God*, this is the same old lie since the dawn of time for menkind.......which they stilllll seem to fall quite easily for.........lol, quite sadly, indeed

  • I can understand why some view the GOD of the Old Testament and The New Testament, as being somewhat different in behavior, but if one sees the entire picture its easy to see they are ONE and the same. People want to humanize GOD, by this I mean, to *judge His behavior* as if he were one of them....This is impossible because even though He DID come to be human for a time, He Isnt human in reality. GOD cannot be held accountable by menkind regardless of how much theyd like to assume so.

  • Excellent information. Thank you!

  • This is great. Thank you for this video
