From a few of my experiences with Salvia Divinorum, I recall feeling the presence of another entity. At one point, on the shift back towards 'reality' I remember a confusing feeling of familiarity building with this presence and moments before I again realized what was going on, I made a shocking discovery. The presence I was feeling, trying to connect to, to ask, to question, to communicate with... The presence was my own. The entity I was exploring was me. Ego is a fascinating manifestation.
Awareness is part of the brain complexity you know that! commen sense! but what is aware of awareness or what is aware of the ego(memory) ..You see awareness and truth are just mere words.Nothing can touch what we are thats why many people are lost in thought all thought either if its passionate love or intense hate are just small ideas..And alot of people have been shrunked to that size.WARS,LOVE and EVERYTHING else has been backed by an idea of something that never exsisted
Maybe she should try something less cloying. I never liked the archaic language of ACIM. Jesus spoke Aramaic, not seventeenth century English, and he was smart enough to learn modern vernacular. Why speak in a stilted, flowery and verbose King James ;')
To me the word 'awareness' refers to a state of being... it is the same as 'consciousness', thay are states... they have opoostites... and they change...

you(the real you, spirit, no-thingness)still exist when you are unaware, as in sleep...
