Revelation is apocalyptic literature, and this video is a joke. How is someone supposed to believe that the guy in the black shirt is actually Paul Crouch Jr. and that the woman is a prophet. When there is NO sound and the video images itself are manipulated with some weird affects. Not to mention that nothing miraculous happens in this video at all, its just two people having a conversation on the street.
What is so sad is the millions they put into their own homes and properties millions of dollars taken from contributors, I once supported this ministry in 1978 but quit after seeing some problems. When you ask for forgiveness it means that you've maybe had an epiphany or some other event happen in your life causing you to realize your wrong doing. Paul needs rebuking, but there are no prophets as far as speaking new revelation from God. The canon of scripture is closed. God speaks through His revealed word, which is in the bible. Christians are prophets in a sense, we speak forth what God has already said.

what many people don't realize is that "Revelation' is a separate letter that was written by itself as a futuristic prophecy based on dreams [visions] that almighty God sent to John by the spirit. It was later included with other books to form the Bible. Therefore whomever Adds to the "book of Revelation" will have those plagues mentioned within the context of "Revelation" added to their person., but that warning doesn't pertain to the entire Bible, only the book of Revelation.

A good example of this is found in Isaiah 28:8. He says: "For all the tables are full with vomit and filthiness, so there is no place clean." This verse is referring to the same metaphor of eating that Jesus uses so many times.

Why was this same JESUS sitting at the treasury when the woman with her last mite was giving her offering or donation? JESUS CHRIST, did; however, collect an offering from the lad with the fishes. After JESUS received the offering of the fish and loaves, JESUS shared it with the crowd. This practice is in harmony with the teaching in the New Testament Bible in which the people brought donations and laid the money at the apostles' feet. Accepting donations is of GOD.
But don't call those people phrophets who are rebuking that broadcaster because all they are doing is preaching and teaching the word and they were not adding anything to the phrophecies of scripture and in fact they were rebuking people for adding prophecy and teachings to scripture. The gift of prophecy was done away with and scripture completed before the end of the first century A.D. Two thumbs up for those doing the rebuking.

It's because the office of an OT prophet involved giving to the people of Israel the revelations they received from God. By the close of the first century the completed revelation and prophecies were embodied in the Bible. So the office of a prophet became preacher and teacher. See John F. I read the Bible which lists the gift of the prophet as for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry. MacArthur Jr's book: Charismatic Chaos because he is the best I know for teaching from the bible that the Canon of scripture is CLOSED and there are no new revelations. Which means there are no prophets in the OT sense. Also, Paul said the gift of tongues and gift of prophecy will cease.

@xebec1958 I dont think there is such thing. As apart of the curse women are sub serviant to man (and man to GOD). Leaders were always men (kings, politicians, etc.) and not women. No where in the Bible does it mention or even imply women as leaders or prophets. "Prophetess" is probably to appeal to the womens movement.
I agree, however many misinterpret this verse meaning to apply to the whole bible but it doesn't. Rev 22:18 is warning people not to take away or add to the prophesy of the book of Revelation. Revelation was not part of a compiled set of books called the bible when it was written. Now, if Jan was adding words to the book of Revelations prophecy, I see where you are right.

Paul needs rebuking, but there are no prophets as far as speaking new revelation from God. The canon of scripture is closed. God speaks through His revealed word, which is in the bible. Christians are prophets in a sense, we speak forth what God has already said.

what many people don't realize is that "Revelation' is a separate letter that was written by itself as a futuristic prophecy based on dreams [visions] that almighty God sent to John by the spirit. It was later included with other books to form the Bible. Therefore whomever Adds to the "book of Revelation" will have those plagues mentioned within the context of "Revelation" added to their person., but that warning doesn't pertain to the entire Bible, only the book of Revelation.

The ancient scrolls were discovered one at a time, not all together--therefore when JOHN wrote the "warning about adding a dot or jot" to his Letter of the Revelation, he meant the plagues of tribulation would fall upon that individual, as a way to keep his letter Holy. No the scripture says "if any man adds to THIS book of prophecy "(Revelation 22:18) plagues will be added and if he takes out of this book his name will be taken out of the Book of Life. The Cannon wasn't closed when this was written, and this was a clear statement that was made by an angel about the Revelation that was just given to John...upNyaBizzness is absolutely correct in this statement.

@upNyaBizznizz The metaphors in the Old Testament are a little harder to see sometimes, especially when they are only alluded to. They can be used so subtly that it is easy to miss the real message. A good example of this is found in Isaiah 28:8. He says: "For all the tables are full with vomit and filthiness, so there is no place clean." This verse is referring to the same metaphor of eating that Jesus uses so many times.

It means, there is no knowledge on the table that is clean to "feast upon," that all of "the bread" of God that should be there has been fouled by men. God's truths have been turned into what the philosophies of men turn "bread" into--vomit and excrement,(2) metaphorically of course. (Cf. Isaiah 21:5).

If you watch for them, metaphors are more common in our speech than we might first think. A line from a recent song comes to mind is a prime example, "You are the wind beneath my wings."

Why was this same JESUS sitting at the treasury when the woman with her last mite was giving her offering or donation? JESUS CHRIST, did; however, collect an offering from the lad with the fishes. After JESUS received the offering of the fish and loaves, JESUS shared it with the crowd. This practice is in harmony with the teaching in the New Testament Bible in which the people brought donations and laid the money at the apostles' feet. Accepting donations is of GOD.

But don't call those people phrophets who are rebuking that broadcaster because all they are doing is preaching and teaching the word and they were not adding anything to the phrophecies of scripture and in fact they were rebuking people for adding prophecy and teachings to scripture. The gift of prophecy was done away with and scripture completed before the end of the first century A.D. Two thumbs up for those doing the rebuking.

@glynisbethel: They are just teachers. Anyone who stands on the sure word of the prophets (2:Peter 1:19) which is what we have in the Bible, is a prophet. It's because the office of an OT prophet involved giving to the people of Israel the revelations they received from God. By the close of the first century the completed revelation and prophecies were embodied in the Bible. So the office of a prophet became preacher and teacher. See John F. MaCarthur Jr's book: Charismatic Chaos.

MacArthur Jr's book: Charismatic Chaos because he is the best I know for teaching from the bible that the Canon of scripture is CLOSED and there are no new revelations. Which means there are no prophets in the OT sense. Also, Paul said the gift of tongues and gift of prophecy will cease.

I like what she says about extortion. I've seen so many infomercials and tv preachers say sew the seed and you'll be healed or you'll be rich and prosperous. I'm not saying all do it, but I've seen my share. I'm not going to give for myself, its suppose to be freely give. We aren't suppose to expect something back. Wolves in sheep clothing are out their on a hunt.

I am not a Christian, but she makes some very valid points according to the book that they all claim to believe in. Selling blessings, hope, and healing was never suppose to happen according to the bible. Quite frankly, what most of them do is sickening!

God Bless you sister! thank you for the video. there is so much heresy being preached. im glad to see a sister in the Lord stand up ! too many are afraid to preach the truth , too many have itching ears. In fact it is a sin NOT to judge these false teachers and preachers.i wonder, what will it take for people to wake up!!!Dear sister, may Jesus bless you for speaking truth!

@xebec1958 I dont think there is such thing. As apart of the curse women are sub serviant to man (and man to GOD). Leaders were always men (kings, politicians, etc.) and not women. No where in the Bible does it mention or even imply women as leaders or prophets. "Prophetess" is probably to appeal to the womens movement.

I agree, however many misinterpret this verse meaning to apply to the whole bible but it doesn't. Rev 22:18 is warning people not to take away or add to the prophesy of the book of Revelation. Revelation was not part of a compiled set of books called the bible when it was written. Now, if Jan was adding words to the book of Revelations prophecy, I see where you are right.
